* FiSH ON * A Fun Place 2 Go Fishing. I Generally Fish This Lake From My Belly Boat. There's a Boat Launch and 2 Docks @ the North-End of the Lake. There iz About 40 Sites That R Well Maintained and I Believe the Fee Iz About $12 Per Night.

Just an awesome little campground, great layout for sites, flushing toilets, hot/good pressure showers, beautiful gazzibo with huge public grill, lake filled with tagged fish.....even tho we had a few eagles snagging epic lunches all wknd BUT all in all it was a great time!!! Definitely looking forward to coming bac again!!!

Good little picnic spot, overlooking the river.

We are 'fulltimers' and this park, without doubt, is the best we have stayed at. The hosts are fantastic folks and incredibly helpful. The park is quiet, has great spaces for all sizes of RV's, pull-throughs, impeccably clean shower and washroom facilities, and all this in a beautifully treed setting. In our experience city-owned parks are generally not well cared for or well run. Claybanks is a wonderful exception. Kudos to the hosts and the City of Merritt. They have the best kept secret for RV'ers in BC.

My family has been coming here for years....the fishing is good...the amenities are excellent and it is close to an incredible variety of activities

This is a really good spot for fishing. The fish put on a good fight. It's a lot of fun if you like the outdoors and fishing
