Humber Arboretum
205 Humber College Blvd, Toronto, Ontario, M9W 5L7, Canada
A hidden gem... this arboretum is very well maintenance, and it has many connected traila including 1 large one around the arboretum. Unlike most arboretums that only have trees, this one is a hybrid between a botanical garden and an arboretum. The garden portion is small, but you can easily spend an hour or more walking the trails. It is a must visit, and it is also dogfriendly too.
Markham Women's Boot camp

I completed the 6 week boot camp program this summer and I've been debating writing this review for a while. The facilities are clean and the equipment is in tip top shape. Over the six weeks, I completed all the workouts and did see results. I enjoyed the exercises and the staff and gym members were friendly.
However, I didn't enjoy the way that membership was pushed on boot campers. The way the gym advertises itself suggests that participants would receive physical and nutritional support from trainers, which I didn't really receive. While everyone was friendly, there are so many women in the gym at one time that it is impossible for one instructor to monitor each participant to ensure that they are completing each exercise properly. It felt like the sole purpose of this gym is to process as many women as possible and hopefully get them to sign up.
Leading up to the boot camp I continued to receive emails regarding sign-up even though I had already signed up and the email blasts throughout the program include canned information that I didn't find helpful or relevant to my experience.
My biggest issue with the gym is the diet they ask participants to partake in. Luckily as someone who lives with IBS I know what works and doesn't work for my body, but I tried to follow the recommended diet. I was not consuming close to enough calories to function and felt ill after the first 5 days, reverting to a diet that worked for me.
I decided to write this review because other women could be looking for an environment that is supportive and conducive to them making a life change. Especially in instances where someone doesn't have the knowledge on how to exercise and eat, I would want them to be aware of what they may expect.
I have since joined a cross fit gym where I receive coaching and one on one guidance, in addition to nutritional information that is suitable for my body and needs.
The experience here wasn't bad, but it wasn't what I was looking for on my fitness journey.

If you're looking for a French language institution that boasts comprehensive curricula covering all aspects of the language for a variety of levels and age groups, you've come to the right place. Classroom atmosphere is great, staff is friendly, and the teachers are professional and engaging. There's also plenty of opportunity to put your newly acquired French to the test with free events such as Speak Dating. Highly recommended!

I spent two weeks at the Indian Line campground at the beginning of July. The place is fine. If you have a camper, you will appreciate the huge lots. Because I had a tent, I found that there was a very serious lack of privacy. One or two trees on the site lines would do a lot for that. My biggest concern is with the noise. While I understand that this is not the park's fault, the sound levels were so high at night that it was really hard to sleep. Between the trains on the track next to the campground and the motorcycles racing in the streets nearby, it definitely wasn't a peaceful camping experience.

My 9 month old daughter is enrolled in the Tiny Tykes program at MyGym Richmond Hill. She is a very active baby. Crawling and pulling herself up on furniture, I was looking for a program that could help foster and develop her motor skills, spatial awareness and balance. The MyGym program has been an excellent experience for her. The program design is research based and the instructors are passionate and educated in this field. I would recommend this program for all babies active or not!

Hatch Canada - Richmond Hill

My experience with Hatch Canada was amazing! My son just changed school and I had to plan a last minute birthday party to make him feel better. I called a lot places but everything was pretty booked. Luckily I found Hatch Canada and Jessica helped me to plan the last minute party. I was very worried but she made sure I was comfortable about the programs. She was very kind and down to earth. His birthday turned out to be fantastic! The computer coaches were very nice with kids, programs were educational but fun and parents were happy too. I chose Hatch Canada t-shirts for loot bags and everybody loved it. I am very glad I went with Hatch Canada.

I am so happy I made the decision to send my daughter to centre camp for her first real camp experience. She had the most amazing summer with the most amazing counselors. She came home with smiles every day. This camp is very well run and extremely organized. The staff is so loving, responsible and caring. Two big thumbs up!!!
