Elk Falls Provincial Park and Protected Area

Spectacular. The walks are graded and there a short and long walks. Stairs are senior friendly and grated, not slippery. The Elk Falls are magnificent and only 15 minutes from Campbell River on Vancouver Island. There is also a suspension bridge.

Runs on karma just as much as on the dollar. Great camping spots, with views, the bay literally at the site on some coveted waterfront spots, and no cell coverage. There's wifi at the office if you absolutely have connect to the outside world, but why would you want to? Really great, friendly place.

Beautiful lake for paddleboarding. We are spoiled to live on this amazing Island. Paddleboard into the lake and get a view of the glacier. Absolutely spectacular.

-Beautiful camp site, right by the beach. -Communal fire pits meant that the park was clean and not smokey. Plus that way we actually met new people.

I have been coming to Westwood campground for years and love it here the family that own it have always done there best to make use feel welcome, and are all amazing with my kids, the facilities are clean it's great to have the little store in there office and a plus that the beach is just a minute away, Thank you Ian and Rhonda for making us feel so welcome every year 😊🏄
