I tried to rent a 12 passenger Ford Tansit van from Maxx rental and they denied my request. At first they asked for proof of insurance before they would confirm my reservation. I provided my Travelers Insurance auto policy Jacket which showed that I am fully insured in Canada for rental vehicles, specifically the policy noted that I cam covered for "any van" rental. Maxx told me that my policy needed to specifically state that I am insured for a 12 passenger van. I tried to obtain this language from Travelers Insurance but they would not change my policy to satisfy the rental companies desires. Travelers told me that the "any van" language should suffice, it did not. After 4 calls to Travelers and 4 calls to Maxx, the situation was not resolved and they denied my reservation request. I even had a manager from Travelers Auto call Maxx rental to discuss my qualifications. I would not recommend Maxx Rental to anyone. They are challenging to deal with, happy to waste your time and are not

The customer service at this specific budget location was very poor. The person at the front desk was very confused about whether I could modify my reservation. He went so far as to make me call the Budget call center while I was in the retail location picking up my rental. It was very confusing and time consuming. After I got an answer from a Budget customer service representative, he called his manager and disagreed with what Budget had told me over the phone in front of him. He wanted to charge me $100 more than stated on the rental agreement. To make matters worse, the car we picked up was not clean inside or out. I usually have good service from Budget but I found this location to be quite bad.

Very positive experience overall. Got my car in less than a minute on my way out. When returned it I left something important in it (it was after hours drop-off) by mistake. Called the next day to check if my item was found - and the person on the phone went down to the garage while on the phone with me, searched the car and found what I was looking for. Please note that the same location serves both Ace's and Discount's customers . So, my review applies to both because the same people will be there, regardless if you are renting from Ace or Discount.

Best prices for weekend rents in Edmonton. The prices during the week are slightly higher than Budget. The cars here usually are newer and better. Friendly staff.

I have only good experiences with Enterprise. Their cars are always new and clean. They got the best staff; polite, well-mannered and caring. You can get great deals too. This particular branch of Enterprise is my weekly go to. They also have a shuttle to pick you up and drop you off within the working hours. They have a key drop and all in all they're your best bet when it comes to car rentals in Edmonton.

Terrible experience. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. Roy was by far the more inconsiderate and rude person in the customer service industry that I have had the misfortune to deal with in a VERY long time.

Tho we have had rough experiences with this company in the past. They were resolved threw their kind and generous CEO who we appreciate very much. If you have an issue I suggest you address it. I'm impressed with how the problem was resolved and we will continue to use flaman for our daily rentals in our business! Thanks

Picking up the car was smooth, even despite not having a credit card. The car was fine. And dropping it off was simple and painless, and they gave me a ride home.

Scammers. They claimed that there was smoke damage but my husband and I don’t even smoke! They have charged my card over $600 extra from my invoice. I called 3 times for them to send me a breakdown of what they have charged me for and it’s been over a week and nobody contacted me back.
