Cosmetic/Plastic Surgery

I sat for an hour. Did not talk to Dr J Chi longer than 10 minutes. Informed him of when i could be in for surgery. He assured me it would be no problem for an 8 AM surgery. Then a nurse came in to tell me all she has is six o clock i must take becouse i have to fix the fractures in my nose and face. When i told her i live in FESTUS!!! an hour away she said well cant you just have your mom wake up at 4 so she can drive you here then back so she can be at work if not theres nothing we can do. We have nothing else open. Even though the dr assured me otherwise. She then decided to be rude and ignorant stating im stupid if i dont take this and stubborn. Sorry lady but you need to work on your communication skills. Dont make it so obviouse with that cross you wear that you hate gays. Its funny as soon as i make a statement.to my fiance that your whole demeanor changed. So needless to say i walked out. Im now looking at my bill. And they wanted 270 dollars for me waiting in a waiting.room for an hour. Talking to dr J Chi for ten minutes. So they could attempt to bully me into a 6 AM surgery. Absolutly unproffessional. Here i am still not needing surgery my face looks fine and i breath fine, yet i had to do it, no thanks. Have fun dealing with my lawfirm and lawyer. Unproffessional and 270 dollars every ten minutes you tell a dr whats wrong with you. Ridiculous.

Dr.Humphrey is really nice and takes his time with you. I personally felt real comfortable with him unlike others doctors you have the ones you feel comfortable with and others you don’t. Awesome doctor thank you dr.Humphrey for taking care of my ulnar nerve and hand. And the receptionist and nurses are awesome to they help you in any way, they are very nice. Thank you all

I am writing a review because if I can prevent one person from going through what I did it will be well worth it. I had a bilateral mastectomy after having breast cancer in my right breast. I also had 13 lymph nodes removed under my right arm. Although I did not look great cosmetically I thought I was so fortunate that I did not have any arm swelling from the lymph node removal When I visited Dr Kinney he made the DIEP FLAP surgery sound so rosy. He said in addition to new breasts you will also get a free tummy tuck!! What middle aged woman wouldn't want a tummy tuck? What a joke that was. Dr Kinney told me the only complication was very very rarely a vein would not take and he would need to go back in and "redo" the vein. He acted like it was no big deal. When I went into surgery the hospital put a wrist band in my right arm stating I was not to get blood draws, blood pressure nor needle sticks on that arm. When I came out of surgery my sons were livid to see the big long bloody spot where Dr Kinney removed the main vein in my right arm. This caused permanent swelling to my right arm. Dr Kinney needed a vein to feed the breast and rather than use one in the stomach, back or anywhere else he decided to take the one in my arm. I think because it was easier for him. In addition 4 days after my drains were removed I was deathly ill. My niece rushed me to the emergency room where I was diagnosed with MRSA I was septic and my kidneys shut down. The hospital called Greater Milwaukee Plastic Surgery and was told Dr Kinney was out the Country on vacation and the doctor on call Dr Loewenstein refused to see me. The infection caused the stitching to tear out leaving a huge hole in my stomach. I was in the hospital 2 weeks. When Dr Kinney returned his idea was to stitch up my stomach with the infection still in my stomach and send me home. Fortunately for me I had an excellent infectious disease Doctor that said "no way" I was on IV fluids for weeks along with a wound vac and daily packing of the wound. I was told my body was at its lowest point. Now that I am feeling better I am left with a swollen arm and hand, swollen stomach where half is stuck down and 2 breasts that are so noticeably lopsided with one side being at least 2 sizes bigger than the other and running down my side and my stomach. In addition I am also left with all these foreign material inside me which I was not told about. ( materials in my belly and clips and plastic strings in my breasts. If even one person thinks twice about getting this operation from Dr Kinney this post is worth writing

Dr. Patel did a beautiful job reconstructing my chin after removal of a rather large basal cell carcinoma from the left side of my chin. I had had many skin cancers removed from all over my body, but none from my face. I entered the surgery rather lightly, not understanding how large the cancer was or how invasive the removal. I was devastated by the damage done. The day of my surgery, I had no idea that in a few months I'd look almost good as new. And in the next year, you would not be able to tell I had had reconstruction. Dr. Patel was not only extremely skillful, but very professional and compassionate with me. He helped me through a very difficult time and he made good on his promise to ensure no one could ever tell I'd had such an invasive procedure on my face. These days I HAVE to point the location out to people,because you can't tell there was any damage otherwise. I look in the mirror every day and thank God for Dr. Patel and for the experience of being under his care.

Lied straight to my face about billing. A month later a claim goes through $215 more than they said it would be. The entire Agnesian chain (at least in FDL) is very sleezy. Haven't found a good place yet since it costs money to switch doctors but I'm definitely never coming here again or any other Agnesian building.

Very through and informative. Made you feel at ease about the procedure. They were well prepared with all the information about the procedure but also the cost. They presented options for paying for the procedure. Thank you Dr. Chau and staff for making me welcomed. I had breast reduction and lift with Dr. Placik 3 weeks ago, and I can not tell you how happy I am! I was a 36 E and now I'm a 34 C (large C). My back, neck and shoulders aren't aching and causing headaches anymore, and the best part, my clothes fit so much better. It doesnt look like i'm squeezed into tops and dresses. Dr. Placik and his entire staff made me feel so at ease. The procedure was explained in great detail and was very honest and upfront about expectations and recovery. He called me himself the day after surgery to see how I was doing, which was so nice to hear from him and how the surgery went since I don't remember much of what he said after surgery. He is the best!!!!

I wish I had read all the reviews before going to DR Kotis and getting a breast lift. I relied on this doctor to indicate what breast lift was required based on my needs . He performed the surgery , charged premium price and once it was evident that the expected results were not there, he indicated that I needed a different breast lift, REALLY??? I now have to have the procedure done, the RIGHT way and pay again, of course, with a different doctor. Please read these reviews... Be Aware and be Informed!
