Cosmetic/Plastic Surgery

I moved to Michigan almost a year ago and have had Botox injections twice, both of them with poor results, so I was looking for a more reputable plastic surgeon in my area. I had my first experience about 3 weeks ago with dr colony. He gave me a syringe of Botox injections. He told me to let him know after a couple of weeks if the injections were working. Unfortunately they were not. He had me come in yesterday to discuss options. He told me that after time you can build up a resistance to the proteins in Botox and it will stop being effective, so he thought to try xeomin. He gave me the injections (quickly) and when I went out to pay, he waived the charges and said that in a couple weeks if I don’t get the reaction I want, to come back and he will try dysport. The fact that the Botox did not work was not his fault, apparently my body just didn’t react the way it should, so it was unnecessary for him to cover $350. I used product so I should’ve at least paid something. I was impressed by that. His staff is very helpful and Dr. Colony himself is as well. He is the first doctor I’ve been to that has done something generous like that. I would recommend him to anyone, more for the fact that he is knowledgeable and experienced. Thank you Dr. Colony

Had a minor procedure done here, the staff are wonderful people they are extremely thorough and extremely friendly. They worked with my insurance company to make sure that my insurance covered my procedure. The surgeon was Dr. Cohen and what a fine individual this person is. She is friendly, caring, very thorough, and does not talk over your head so that you can understand in layperson's terms what she is going to do and your expected outcome. She made sure I was comfortable and talked me through the whole experience. I have a follow-up visit shortly and expect the same kind consideration given to me so far. Thank you MSU surgery.

Husband referred to this doctor for a broken finger. Arrived for appointment to discover his practice is mostly breast cancer patients according to his staff. Waited for and hour and one-half without being seen. When we left, we let the receptionist know why we were leaving and she said: "I'm sorry, I don't blame you."

So a week after surgery and I can say this. I have never breathed this well in any time I could remember. Stitches removed and a mucus dissolving today, and this is a literal game changer. Breathing is so much better. And only for a 1 hour surgery. (Septoplasty to repair the center part of my nose due to over a dozen breaks from both boxing and the military.) Dr. Sufyan is the man. Michigan ENT in East Lansing. Highly recommend and he makes things remarkably easy and relatable to understand. Thanks Doc.
