CARES always responds promptly to my emailed queries, and with my first attempt with a new counsellor I found someone lovely who I decided to stick with. I've had no problems thus far and would highly recommend!

After a five year breakdown of a 25 year marriage and extreme anguish on all quarters, I found myself separated, filing bankruptcy and homeless. I could barely keep my job, because of the anxiety attacks and meltdowns I was experiencing at work. Anna was the last and best in a long line of secular and Christian counsellors I saw and genuinely helped me over the worst of the fallout of this demise. It's been four years since then and I am again seeking her out to work through a new dilemma in my life. I saw this review and thought I'd let everyone know... Anna is a miracle worker, when it comes to assisting folks to find clarity and make healthy, life choices and therapeutic decisions that enable them to walk into the future whole and confident. I've had number of occasions to deal with John Jenkinson. He manages to strike an appropriate balance between professionalism and compassion, and between practical advice and emotional support. Though he has a Christian perspective, he is able to assist people who don't share that perspective. I often recommend to others that it is worthwhile speaking to someone who is neither a friend nor family. Because friends or family, though well-meaning, will inevitably be weighing or gauging their responses for a variety of reasons. John Jenkinson is an excellent objective, but not cold, counsellor.

I was so pleased to hear that Dr. Jassal has established her own practice. It was difficult finding a counsellor who Could understand some of the seriously painful stuff I was going through that is until I got a referral to see her. She is truly a special person.
