Dentists

I presented with general abdominal pain and ongoing fever for 3 days. The "Dr Bob" I saw was less than helpful and I would NEVER recommend being seen here if you are truly unwell- just got to your PCP or ER (besides he'll recommend you be seen by either of those anyways). I felt extremely railroaded into the standardized diagnosis and I did not feel like the Dr took the effort and time to listen to my complaint/symptoms. I was referred for an abdominal CT scan after my insistence that I was not simply going home with "Best of Luck" and drink some water, maybe try a laxative. I received no follow up call regarding my CT results, but had to seek results myself, and still received no additional medical guidance regarding pain management, my continued fever, dehydration or the causation of my ongoing symptoms. At this point it was nearly 12 hours after my initial presentation, and still the only medical advice I received was "If you're not feeling better I'd recommend you be seen by a Dr who can provide you with further care like ER or your PCP". I was under the impression I was being seen by a Dr... I am extremely mortified and disappointed that with my presentation I was simply sent home without any consideration for my pain level, fever, dehydration, continued concerning symptoms - vomiting/diarrhea, etc.

I had my first appointment today worth Dr. Pavlovic, since Dr. Degurse left PV. I have to admit that I was very nervous because Dr. Degurse and I had established an amazing patient/dr relationship. I was very upset that she left PV. However, Dr. P was AMAZING! He was friendly, caring and listened. He treated me with respect. He has a great "bedside manner". I am very pleased that he is now my care provider. He is definitely a great choice! Thanks again Dr. P.

Ms. Phipps was very helpful and understanding. So far, great experience at this location. I got the help I needed and was very well informed.

Dr. Lemons was AWESOME with our rambunctious pup, Charlie! He absolutely loved her and the attention he received from her :-)

I see Jill S, and I absolutely adore her!!! Jill takes an active role in my health, she will sit with me and discuss any fears or concerns, I never feel rushed through. And always leave feeling informed and positive. Best medical office experiences of my life! Thank you, Jill!

He refused to give me information that I needed to find some stuff out.

So far we think he is very good. Listens closely and has been great with our whole family.

Wow! I was very impressed I've been messing with a broken tooth meaning to get capped for some time now. Had some pain after eating stopped by there office didn't even call for an appointment. They took me right in, and took great care of me, On the spot! no waiting, that is very rare for any dentist. I truely appreciated my experience. Oh! And I'm getting this tooth capped ASAP! Thanks Again!!!

They not only provided my dentures quickly and at an affordable price, they were honest, respectful and always polite. I will never use someone's services for dentures again. Thanks guys.

I Love this place! Dr. Vershave and her staff are kind, gentle and they don’t talk down to you. So long as I have teeth; they will only be worked on by Belmar Smiles!

Hello everyone. This is my 12 y/o sons 2nd visit to Shining Stars Kids Dentistry and both times got awesome care! I have learned to LOVE this dentist and her practice. We didn't get off to such a great start a couple of years ago. I had some of the same office staff problems found in less favorable google reviews. What turned it all around is that I informed Dr. Borris of my dissatisfaction via the same staff and she called me back personally to offer a substantial and sincere conversation about. My experience there turned around immediately and completely and continues to the best dental care experience that I recall, ever! Dr. Borris consistently amazes me with her knowledge and communication skills. She has figured out that I think systemically and offers me concisely thorough explanations of her assessment of the dental situations that I come up with, the whys of the assessment, her treatment strategy as well as the technical procedures. This is a first for me in ANY kind of allied health practice. It seems that Dr. Borris also paid attention to patient feedback regarding office and technical staff and has made vast improvements featuring the awesome Trish at the front desk. Trish not only presents one of the brightest personalities found in my experience of medical offices, her reliability in managing the business side of my engagement there promotes trust and confidence that I am in the care of a seasoned professional that doesn't thrive on excuses framed as explanations. The mistakes to explain just don't happen. The quality of the good doctor's assistants and hygienists is consistent with the personal qualities skill levels found throughout the practice. They offer thorough explanations of the treatment goals and procedures and promote confidence in their work. Again, this is an area where Dr. Borris' communication skills are in evidence. I actually enjoy the effective and responsively efficient communication between her and her technical staff as they are working on me. It is clear that she has recruited and carefully trained a corps of technical staff that can work with her exceptional intelligence. Phewww! This has become a dense review but then I am not prone to 5 star reviews. In addition to being a review, I want to offer a testament to the joy I experience in knowing that I have never felt that achieving this level of dental care and health could be something to be so happy about. Thank you Dr. Borris and staff!

This was my son’s first time to visit the dentist. I was so nervous that he was going to freak out and scream uncontrollably (as he had started to do at the barber). He had a little anxiety, but everyone there was so kind and quickly calmed him by showing him exactly what they were about to do! I am so thankful for a stress free first trip!
