I would like to share my experience at Medica Aesthetica in Port Moody with laser technician Lisa. I purchased a Groupon for Six Laser Hair-Removal Treatments on a Large Area for about $100. I called the phone number on their website and talked to Lisa, the laser technician. She was very friendly and I appreciated the fact that she accommodated a Wednesday morning appointment for me as my teaching schedule was tight that week. On the day of the appointment, Lisa was early and was prepared. She saved me time booking the consultation and my first session on the same day! Lisa was very knowledgeable, experienced and clean; she sanitized the machine prior to use and answered all my questions. She was very considerate as to check on how I was feeling during the session and worked very quickly. Thanks Lisa! I'll definitely be back soon.

The Dentist was excellent and the staff was very friendly. Would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a specialist.

We LOVE this guy and his team!!! they have been taking care of us for years now- and I cant imagine going any place else.... I have had a tooth pulled from him and he was so gentle- I couldn't believe it was pulled!!! he is also honest about what you need not out to make a buck- Dr sawicki believes in options ...and that says a lot about him!

I always had a problem with having an under-bite. Countless times I have been recommend by many consultants to have a surgery because braces would not achieve the goal of perfect teeth. I came to found out this orthodontics place, and was able to successfully achieve my goal without 0 surgery. The people there are very nice and are always on top of things. Who knew I was able to find "the one"? I know I did.

I have been going to this clinic for 5 years now. Very good experience. They always put me at ease. Dr Raziee is great, very gentle and caring. Front desk ladies are friendy and always accomodating. I actually look forward to my dental visits.

Dr Jin did 2 implants for me. One included an extraction. This procedure was quite scary for me however he did everything to make me feel comfortable. The implants were always followed up regularly. I always have questions but someone on his team always took time to answer them for me on the phone, or during my cleanings. Highly recommended.

I have been going to Dr Tso for years along with my kids. I have a fear of dentist from childhood. Since going to Dr Tso. I have no fear at all!!! Kind relaxing office. My kids go with ease and no anxiety. Small personal office . Individual attention!!!

Dr J Smillie 7053 Glacier St, Powell River, British Columbia In the defense of the post of Amy Sinclair since I was present that day...the dentist above The Cut hairdressing shop on Marine Avenue IS NOT DR. SMILLIE whose dental clinic has been located on Glacier Street for decades. The dentist Amy Sinclair chose ...that should be Dr. Bradley and yes he did x-rays and then pulled wrong tooth. Dr. Smillie is a highly reputable dentist and he is one of two of Powell River's very best children's dentists with the other being Dr Machin....I would go back to get dental work done by Dr. Smillie any day and I truly detest dentists. I was the person who drove Amy Sinclair to her dentist on that day watching the baby in the waiting room and that was the dentist above The Cut on Marine - that is not Dr Smillie. That happened in Aug 2011 - says your mother -in-law.

Went in to get two wisdom teeth removed. He changed his mind last minute and he wanted to take out a molar instead. Told me it was because of an abscess. He gave me no other options and had pulled the tooth before I had even had a chance to think about what was even going on. After going see my regular dentist. He was shocked that Dr James had pulled my tooth. Not to mention it was almost certain as that he pulled the wrong side if a tooth actually needed to be pulled in the first place. I was only 26, The tooth he pulled had never caused me any problems. He never talked about a root canal. He never told me about bone loss after extraction which is now adding to the cost of my implant due to a required sinus graft. He never said anything helpful at all. Just seems impatient and in a rush leaving you uncomfortable. It's clear he's the type of dentist that creates his own work. His business is slow. He was the only dentist available at the time and now I can see why. Wait for a real dentist. I can't believe I let this idiot work on my mouth. Not to mention the staff let me leave the office with blood all over my face. I would not recommend this man to anyone other then someone looking to have some teeth pulled that don't need to be pulled.
