Excellent prices! Great customer service! Awesome selection! Plenty of parking! Whether you need help pairing a red wine with dinner, a nice bottle of scotch or good price point on local beer this store is sure to meet your needs. Eddy runs the store and takes pride in doing so. He makes a point to learn names and is a total gem. They have late nights snacks like ice cream, chips, candy or iced coffee, creamer or nag champa if you need. I love their seltzer selection and I often I grab a bundle of firewood. Cherry on top? You can use Apple Pay or other tap payments. Also, they my pup treats :)

They don't accept change for the most part. I got banned and security called on me for bringing in change... I have been going there for years since I moved here! My favorite store in the city and she embarrases me in front of a store full of people throwing change at me in a brown paper bag, telling me to get out and my change is null and void. I mean threw it at me! I cried out of embarrassment and asked her why she was treating me like this. She called security... I talked to the owner and he said it was ok for me to come back just come during night shift when she's not around... Kevin is an amazing man and a staple in the community! He is more than a hero! I thank him for his kind heart and youthful spirit! I'd hang with him anyday 🌞 he told me just to kidnly ask her if it was ok for me to come back after two months! Work has been a bit unsteady due to COVID-19 and I'm a waiter so I just don't always have a million bucks in cash... I always have the correct amount of change to where even the other workers don't have to count it because they know it's the correct amount... I've tried my hardest to not have to go there unless urgent and it's difficult because other than Ralphs they are the closest mini market to me! 15 miles to the nearest in Claremont at the 7eleven... I have to realize that not every one has your crest interest but to forgive always and don't take it out on others! Be kind people of la Jolla, be kind! Have a blessed evening

I truly glad, I found Uptown Spirits. Nice choice of whiskey, prices a bit higher, but not as bad as other places, they fulfill and ship fairly fast, customer service responsive to emails. Definitely recommend.

Best Liquor in Anaheim they sell so many varieties in drinks and many types of exotic sodas also great place.

Hands down the worst experience ever! Purchased a pack of cigarettes, they ended up being stale! The cashier called the owner Rani, and the owner stated since it’s opened, I can’t return it. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Mind you I just purchased it less than 5 min before. I told them I don’t want a refund, I just want another pack. They refused and told me it’s not their fault. Said it’s Marlboro’s fault! I told them this is their product they’re selling! It’s the principle of it!! Replace it! I just spent $38 on cigarettes, i just wanted something for monies paid. And instead, they, as a business chose to be horrible and rude! Do not shop here!!! They’re very inconsiderate! Response to Wilson’s Liquor: Horrible and rude was the way your owner was yelling on the phone to relay the message about not being able to refund or exchange anything! Not to mention the disregard that I’m the customer who spent money at your store and this is what I received! A box of stale cigarettes and an ignorant owner who doesn’t care! Maybe check the expiration dates on your cigarettes! This is a product YOU sell! And an unhappy customer is something you had the chance of changing my perspective on the whole situation! Obviously customer service isn’t something your store is worried about! Something small like a $10 pack of cigarettes and you’re incapable of rectifying a situation! Hate to see when a bigger mishap happens. But please make sure you respond accordingly to my Better Business Bureau complaint! It’s the weekend, hopefully you receive it on Monday! Ever since the new ownership this is my go to liquor store. The owner is amazing and so honest, his his staff as well especially as a woman they make sure you are always safe!!

They make pizza and you can buy it by the slice also cook food and sell lottery.

Great selection of beers

Great food and even better cocktails. Park makes a great drink and is extremely knowledgeable about his craft. A great thing about about the spirits, drinks and food everything is locally sourced. This has never really been a big factor in where I decided to eat and drink at Blinking Owl they do it right, great ingredients without the the pretentious.

This off the beaten path store has a huge selection of beer, wines and liquors The older man at the counter is a real gentleman. This out of the way store is worth the trip.

Not new to SD but new to the neighborhood. Glad to have a place within half a block walking distance with great selection, beer or otherwise with friendly people and good service. Definitely coming back
