WFG is a scam and a scourge on this Earth.

I booked an appointment with Melanie Wade after meeting with a financial advisor at a larger establishment to get a second opinion. Melanie was extremely courteous, organized and well versed in the world of mutual funds and investments. Melanie went through the investments that I had, explained them all to me and discussed comparable products with me that I can switch to, with a list of pros and cons. It is not often that you find a financial advisor who is willing to spend so much time doing background work, research and basic training on financial planning for an individual who is not yet a client. All the while being very understanding of my lack of knowledge of the details and nuances of her business. She was much more thorough than anyone that I have met to date.
