Friendly and knowledgeable.

Charged us $1700 to redo our floor. Took the money, never provided the materials or the labor so we cancelled the work. In return, they refused to refund any of the $1700, even though they hadn't yet purchased the materials. Worst business I have ever had the misfortune to encounter. Wasn't until afterwords we learned this kind of behavior is common practice for them.

For a small shop, they've got alot! And that's alot of quality product. Probably the best shop to get a deal on fibre floor ends that are always stocked in a variety of styles. Donnie and Graham consist of a pleathera of knowledge of the products they sell. Dont forget to swing by and see these guys after you think you're getting a deal on Box Store product.

We'd been thinking about new flooring for a year or two but couldn't find what we liked at a price I liked. We came here and had beautiful new flooring within 5 minutes. We told them we wanted a light coloured laminate that was neither the cheapest nor the most expensive. The young fellah, Dan, took us to exactly what we were looking for and showed us different options. He printed off a complete quote for us so we could think about it, but we hadn't seen such a nice floor anywhere else and we bought it there and then. Both the flooring and underlay were in-stock so we didn't have to wait, as I'm not a fan of waiting. We initially had older, uglier laminate down and the transformation in our house is amazing. We chose a white laminate and it has brightened the main floor. We looked at just about every flooring store in town and no other flooring came close to what we bought here. I appreciated that the young fellah wasn't pushy and was very knowledgeable about all the flooring options.

I have bought tile from Value Check on 2 occasions and the service was excellent. Prices are very competitive and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Undoubtedly the best place to buy construction-related stuffs !!!

Always the best of service. When Raymond was there could answer any question on plumbing, saved me many dollars giving me the right parts for my toilet. When we had kitchen leak problem, another clerk even lent us a hacksaw to do the job. When we got wrong parts, happily gave us right ones in exchange.
