While they do have their own floor installers, versus contractors like other companies, the work was not as expected, considering price paid. For example, the cuts they did near the wall were too short, as if they were trying to save boards. A cut by the door was completely wrong. Finally, the floor squeaks in several key areas. I called Armstrong, who makes the flooring, and after describing the above issues, they said this indicated improper installation methods.

It's a rare thing to find people who genuinely care about their customers. The owner Ken is one of those people.

Super fantastic service and selection. Everything the flooring installer needs usually in stock. Buying here for 34 years and never an issue. They are the best. Very friendly and knowledgeable. If they cant help they have resources that can.

If I could rate ZERO stars, I would. This man is a lunatic, and my experience with him was an absolute NIGHTMARE. When I was not interested in an "experimental technique" he wanted to try to fix my hardwood, he became inappropriate, unprofessional, and irate. It was beyond unbelievable.

Recently purchased hardwood to do main floor of house. I can’t say enough about how helpful Matt & Tenille were in getting me through the selection process. Their knowledge of product was outstanding. Several years ago we purchased hardwood from Essis & it was not a good experience. Hands down Carpet & Tile Mart Mechanicsburg is the place to go. I couldn’t be happier with end result - floors are beautiful! Thanks Matt & Tenille for all your help.

I just completed another project in my home with Essis and Sons. The new luxury vinyl tile in my basement looks amazing. I first started working with Essis a few years ago when I replaced boring beige carpeting with hard wood. They did an excellent job, so I kept calling them back for curtains, area rugs, wallpaper, and more. They have an outstanding interior decorator that brought some life to our place while remaining within our budget. I would not trust anyone else besides the team at Essis to do such a thorough and professional job. I still have a few more rooms to do and they are the only flooring company that I will call.

Great Job. Earlier this year Ken and his team repair a bathroom tile area that was leaking into the dry wall. They were able to match both the tile and the grout perfectly. Very pleased and highly recommended

Grat selection of everything! A bit slow when ordering online for store pick up. Otherwise I would have given five stars

I was in the store a few weeks ago and was looking for Command strips to hang a picture. A cashier named Jackie started to help me but a customer needed to check out so the cashier beside her, Selah, took over. Selah took me right to the product I was looking for and I appreciated the personal attention both of these young ladies showed me. I promised them I would compliment them and I’m very sorry it took me so long to do it.

Very inconsiderate and rude installers.
