Hearing Aid

Chris was extremely un-supportive. I went in less than a week after completing my hearing test and discovering I had High Frequency Hearing loss. She pointed out two options for hearing aids, but it was like pulling teeth to learn the pros and cons of each. It was only after I finally asked to see what I was going to be buying that she got out a demo to let me try. I would have expected her to have a few options for me to look at and for her to have showed me hands on to help me make a decision it what was right for me. She did not talk at all about my audiogram test and what might work better for me or features I might like as she did not ask about my lifestyle at all. When I spoke to her today and let her know that my order was cancelled because I did not find her supportive she actually told me 'That's not true, I don't think you understood what the process is' Sorry Chris - The process should be you supporting me to make a decision not me and my husband having to pull answers out of you. When I asked about running in them she actually compared me to her daughter who doesn't even need hearing aids saying how much she loved them. Coming from someone who is still coming to grips needing them it was terribly insensitive of her to do so. I get her point, but she could have made it without stating that her daughter doesn't even need them.

My experience at the Layton My Hearing Center had been great. The staff is wonderful to work with and very helpful. My insurance company referred me to this location since it was the closest to my home. My hearing equipment purchased from them has worked well and when I lost my ConnectClip they were very prompt in ordering and replacing it.

Faster, courteous, professional, lower cost, better product… This is my third attempt to post this review, but what I’m trying to say is this is the place to go. Battleford Hearing Centers beats the bigger national hearing aid easily
