I got a new townhouse from Remington on July 5, 2018. Prior to the closing, we identified 50+ issues in the unit during the PDI and the rep from Remington said that they will resolve these issues in timely manner. It has been over a month and most of the issues has not been started to fix or no update is provided on when they are planning to fix. For the items they attempted to fix, the results are either half baked repair by their subcontractors or they just made more damage to the area. For example, they took down half of my drywall in my family room and they just left it open for over two weeks without giving any update. I had made multiple follow ups (calls and emails) to the customer care. They never respond to my emails or they just pointing their fingers their subcontractors or telling to just call Tarion during the calls. The overall experience with this purchase is negative and I will suggest people to think twice to buy any new property from Remington.

Beware of this builder. They are unprofessional and mislead you all the way. We purchased a town home from this builder in 2007 and were promised a refund of our $1000 grading deposit within 3 years. Here we are 13 years later and the division was finally assumed by the city of Vaughan on May 27 2020. We have requested and have been waiting for our refund ever since. Just beware what you are getting into and if you are prepared to be lied to and made to feel like a sucker then go ahead and do business with Edenbrook Homes. Good luck!

While this builder might have good designs and layouts, their quality is sub-below par. I've had 2 complaints and while I "understand" that the met the building code, the quality of the material and craftsmanship is bad. With my 3 year old house, I've had mole along the window frames. They deemed it to be "condensation" but it happens to all my windows upstairs. Now, no more than 3 years after I've closed the house, there's signs of water leakage in the basement. When I called them, they said the crack has to be as wide as "fitting your hand" in. They classify that as "major structural defect". To me, ANY crack in the wall foundation should be considered a structural defect, especially if they're going to cover up the basement with insulation. This is a bad development and I would never buy from them again!

Bought our very first home from Royalcliff and have zero regrets. We absolutely love our home and have had no problems at all.

We purchased a home in richmond Hill by flato. There were some issues upon closing of the home including items from pre inspection and also on the 30 day form. Luisa and her team have been very helpful with resolving all the issues with the home. My husband and I hired Matthew after a very bitter experience with a “reputable” builder. We needed extensive renovation to our hose. Before deciding on him (after our bitter experience with the other company), I conducted extensive research I created a short list and started interviewing from my top 5 list... Matthew was such a refreshing experience - he was honest, transparent, responsive, professional and very, very knowledgeable! He presented us a detailed plan (consisting of a fixed portion and a variable portion), he recommended a great designer and started working as soon as we agreed on the scope. His team worked clean, they had attention to detail but more than anything they had Matt keeping a very close eye on them to make sure every detail is considered. We postponed our renovation for 6 years because we were afraid of everything that this process entails, but with Matt and his carefully selected team, everything went on smoothly (well, for us it was, I am sure it has been a tremendous amount of work at his end). We highly recommend Matt and his team to anyone who wants a high end product delivered. Matt, keep it up - you are such a pleasure to work with!!! just now

We bought a house from Highcastle homes 17 years ago at Lundy Village. It is almost 2100 sq ft. Their standard options in cabinetry, tiles, countertop and carpeting are pretty good. I only wish the windows were of better quality. I love the wall to wall carpeting we chose for the home. But whoever installed the carpet did not do a good job. The floor plan is good on the top floor. The ground floor plan could be better. The supposed family-room adjoining the kitchen is more suitable as a dining room. The kitchen size is good. At first it was a bit of a challenge to furnish the house as all the sizes and dimensions are non-standard. overall I do like the house we bought.
