The care and compassion offered at Granite Ridge for my father were beyond compare. They were patient with our families extensive questions and any concerns were addressed very quickly (ex. nurses would give us updates if he was feeling under the weather etc and we called to check in). The food was healthy and plentiful. During my father's 2 year stay they truly made us feel welcome. The compassion and caring they showed him in his final days were above and beyond and they not only cared for him respectfully they also made sure my mother and ourselves were also fed and attended to this difficult time. I can't thank them enough. Anyone considering a long term care home should feel at ease of a loved one living here. They truly do the best that they can.

Terrible staff and they always complain about not having gas money or being underpaid. The staff will add more stress to your life and they don’t care about you The word selfish comes to my mind

My mother spent a few months in respite care at this facility after suffering 2 strokes. The entire staff functions as a true team, and consistently went above an beyond my expectations for care and communication. They provided a degree of comfort and safety in dignified and clean surroundings. I highly recommend Chartwell Oak Park Terrace for anyone seeking an alternative to home care for a loved one.

watch the PSW , they can blame wrongfully , the Psw do not perform the job but make it as a big favours to client , most or almost no Psw spent the full hours with client but some just stay for 5 minute , if you complaint to supervisor ,no result, many other fact what i don;t want to mention , but just watch and be careful with Revera , if you have to deal.

A new home a new start was a 2 person lift now walking with his walker. People who care and help.what more can we do.

Working at Chartwell Empress for a couple of years now. I never worked at such a nice place before. Although being an employee I also managed to get some very good friends there either as co-workers and even residents! Management is awesome and won't hesitate one minute to dirty their hands for any type of jobs. Me and my colleagues always make sure that the residents are always happy and at their best. Highly recommend Chartwell Empress Kanata to either work or to become one of our precious family.

Like any care facility, this one could always use more staff. The ones who work there though are as helpful as possible and take personal care of the residents considering their health and mental needs. Both of my parents live here and I feel confident that they are receiving good care.
