Decent housing for the older generation..

My Step Father was in there. We would come in and he would be bruised up and they said that he fell every night. We moved him to Pine Acres on the westside . He only fell 3 times there. So I don't know what goes on here and I don't think I would trust any of my elders in here.

As a member of GPHSociety I'd like to know if we are in any form involved with the, Comdominium Home Owners Act, or, the Strata Act of BC? Becuse we have a Special Meeting coming up, called " Depreciation Report " To me it seems like they are tell us we belong to, a Strata Property Act. I don't think we are a Strata, Or a CHOA. could you shed some light on this please? Howard Sali.

All the rooms are now being re-decorated to a high standard with showers being installed to all rooms. The meal times are 7:30 breakfast, lunch at 11:30 and dinner at 4:30. These are the times that the majority of the residents choose. However, residents are free to choose a different sitting time, Borden Manor is flexible and willing to accommodate individual needs.

For being one of very very few mental health facilities in Kelowna, they do outstanding work. New management has help sort out any complications that the building use to have.

Has improved over the years. Nicer now than before. Located near downtown Kelowna.

This home has kept a resident sedated night and day. The family has made a request, to both the care home and the family Doctor not to sedate our dad. Upon meeting with the family doctor, she agreed to contact the Care Home and request that he no longer be sedated. The care home has only suggested that they would not sedate him during his home visits. The medication in question does not allow him the ability to communicate with others. We are hoping for a better resolution to resolve this issue.
