Well my mom lives in this complex. The place is nice very welcoming and warm according to mom the dinners are good. The only beef is not a lot of outings

I’ve visited the Chwk Hospital a total of 3 times. Twice I’ve had to obtain doctors notes for my daughters daycare (we don’t have a GP or a paediatrician). Both times the wait has been 30 to 60 mins. Staff, nurses and ER doctor (same guy both visits) were all friendly and efficient. I didn’t have to wait the excruciating wait times or pay a fee for a doctors note as you would at a walk in clinic. My third visit, I had delivered my son via last minute c-section. During my visit I received immediate and intimate care. All the maternity staff were receptive and kind-hearted. I also lucked out and delivered on a “slower day” and managed to get a private room. Since I wasn’t expecting the experience I had, i am so glad to have chosen the Chwk maternity unit vs driving all the way to Abbotsford. Also, this delivery experience is definitely more appreciated and memorable than my 1st in Winnipeg, MB (Women’s Hosp).

Spacious rooms, great meals..my Dad says they make the best desserts and the soup is awesome....friendly staff and residents....a great place to live.

My mom has enjoyed staying at the Valleyhaven Home for the past year. The nurses are always keeping her busy with crafts and various games. The interior has a nice home-like feeling and there is a true sense of community.

The care aids themselves work hard amd are very good, but the team in charge are absolutely useless. Fraser health is horrible. They will leave your loved one to die before they put them in care. Our worker asked me if she should euthanize residents to get them into care. Space is not the problem. Red tape is the problem. Seniors deserve better. This system is sickening.

Staff are wonderful, very helpful, kind and caring, very clean facility

Our family experienced nothing but the best of care for our Dad. All the residents are clean, dressed and part of a daily rhythm that is positive and consistent. The staff was over the top wonderful and went above and beyond in so many instances. Things were tough for sooo long and they hung in there with us and made every accommodation as my dad’s condition changed. I work with seniors daily and have been to many care facilities that you would not wish on anyone. Mayfair is a beautiful example of a clean, bright, positive environment with staff that goes the extra mile.
