Lighting

My daughter and I went in to buy white paint for her red metal bunkbed. The woman who helped us was so knowledgeable, friendly and had some laughs. If you have some furniture projects in mind this is the place to go for exactly what you need.

When I first met the team (who treat you like family including the teasing if they like you...lol) at Linzel I knew nothing about lighting, how it worked and how to use/sell it. Through their education, seminars, training and of countless hours of support (which thank god they don't charge for because I would be poor...lol) I have now become very comfortable in selling, installing and now writing articles with regards to landscape lighting. Landscape lighting thanks to Linzel has become not only the most profitable part of my business but it has also become the part that I am most passionate about; what other part of landscaping can you sell/install that turns your hard work and passion into something that at night that just leaves everyone speechless while helping to extend the usefulness and security of your home! At first I shopped around and yes there may be other companies/distributors at times that may look cheaper at first but when you deal with the team at Linzel the experience, knowledge, support and hands on treatment you get with Linzel Distributing is worth far more than any little bit of money you may save with someone else. With their new warehouse and expanded lines of not only lighting, water features and fire features (just to name a few) Linzel has helped to expand my business, increase profits and taken my business and passion to a level that I previously did not think possible. Anyone I meet who is looking at getting into landscaping I ALWAYS recommend Linzel as the first choice for lighting, water and fire products! Knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and supportive! Just dropped in to Roma to find tintable rustoleum paint and as always, staff were so helpful and knowledgeable. I must remark on the Grimsby store's Diane, who was working on the afternoon of June 16, 2018. Really fun and informative--great staff!

I love that store!

Great people to deal with

Great acoustics, comfortable seating, professional backstage

My wife and I purchased a cottage in the Haliburton Highlands. Because it was originally built as a permanent retirement home for the previous owner, we undertook some renovations to make the place look more cottage-like. This included purchasing various decor items at Northern Expressions over a number of years, ranging from chairs to doors stops. We have to admit that the selection is great at this store. However, our most recent visit was quite disappointing. We had purchased a decorative door stop for $14.99 plus tax, to replace one that had gotten misplaced. When we brought it back to the cottage, the replacement door stop did not work, that is, the portion of the stop which is to slide under the door was too thick. When we came back to Northern Expressions to try to do a simple exchange for a door stop which would fit, we were told that because we had no receipt and more than seven days had gone by, they could not take the door stop back. We explained that we were not looking for a refund but just an exchange. Regardless, the same policy applied. With the assumption that a fair amount of this store's business relies upon seasonal customers, namely cottage owners, who cannot just drive three hours one way from their permanent home in the city during a work day or even a weekend because of other commitments in order to return or exchange a purchase within a 7- day period, you would think that Northern Expressions would be a little flexible or have some discretion in its return policy. Too bad for them that they are not. We were intending to purchase some more items at the time we dropped by the regarding the exchange but after being told that this could not be done, my wife and I had no desire to remain in the store.

Had Daisy Energy install solar panels on my residential roof and complete, and get approved, all agreements required for the microfit program. Have now had just over 2 years of uninterrupted power generation and cash flow. My experience with Daisy Energy was professional at all times and they accomplished what they said they would on a timely basis. Highly recommend this company, especially with reading about several companies out there with less than stellar reputations. Well done Daisy Energy!

Great service

Rick & Susan at C.E.S.CO know their stuff! I have ordered various types of exterior signage over the last 4 years and am happy with the results.
