My children are definitely loving it so far. They have only just started, but they immediately felt comfortable and engaged. The instructors are friendly and professional, and the management has been very friendly and welcoming. Compared to my own brief experiment with the sport in the late 80's, I can see the modernization of the teaching methods in action, which is great to see.

Our son started Taekwondo when he was five. He was shy and quiet. Not only has the sport Taekwondo but more so Master Khamsouk been an enormous influence on his life. He overcame shyness, gained self assurance and overall has developed a strong yet levelheaded personality. He always enjoyed classes and was keen to go and participate. Progressing through belt testing proved to be a powerful incentive for him and made him immensely proud. What he has learned from his years in Taekwondo are skills that he applies to all aspects of his life and we are very grateful for that time that Master Khamsouk took with our son. Without Master Khamsouk's influence our son would not be the person that he is today.

I've had a great experience with the Academy of Martial Arts! I've only been training here for about a year, but in that time I've been able to learn and grow so much as an individual all thanks to the wonderful students and staff. Ever since the first moment I stepped into the dojo, I've been treated with so much love and respect, so I really feel like part of the AMA family! :)

Legends MMA is a great martial arts school for both children and adults. After several years of taekwondo training, with various schools, we switched to Legends MMA. When searching for a new martial arts school, we looked for a few things: 1) Does the head instructor or owner teach the classes himself? Yes, Master Billy teaches all the classes. This is important because some of the schools we've tried have franchise models where the owners never actually teach classes themselves and are seldom on site to supervise. 2) Is it the right martial arts style for me or my child? If you're looking for a style where you can learn practical defence skills that you can begin using immediately, then muy thai is a great choice. Karate and taekwondo can take much longer to learn real life self defence skills as they spend a great deal of time focusing on patterns and discipline and not nearly as much on actual fighting skills. The bottom line is that Legends MMA trains it's fighters to win. So don't sign up anywhere until you check this place out yourself.

I was looking for a martial arts school for my kids with option to join them as well so we could learn together as a family. Both my boys joined in Nov 2016, and I must say I have been more than impressed. The reasons are: - Great Management and staff. Master Shak and his team are extremely knowledgeable and customize there training based on the student. The admin staff are also amazing and always ready to help. - They keep it fun but also instructional. The kids feel safe. - Great variety of package and programs. Very very flexible. In summary both my boys (6 & 4) love it and for being introduced to the sport for the first time, have enjoyed it thoroughly and are eager to learn only because the masters and instructors are amazing and provide a very friendly environment. Seeing this I also joined the classes in March 2017, and the adult classes are thorough, tough and excellently executed by the adult class master and instructors. I highly recommend this school.

Gym is fine. Hard to find free weights when needed. I usually used to use machines but was not satisfied with that. I have now joined Goodlife Fitness across the street which is way better in this regard.

The Academy of Martial Arts is a family owned and operated facility that is obviously dedicated to delivering traditional martial arts to its students in a professional and responsible setting. We love seeing our students grow both personally and as martial artists with life long training as their primary goal.

My son absolutely loves it here. Master Felix is beyond great, he really encourages the children to do and be their best. Nice,clean, big open space. Classes are not jam packed so teacher gets one on one time with the students. Love the fact that trial classes were offered prior to commitment. Would highly recommend.

This school is excellent. Very professional, experienced, and friendly staff. My 5 year old daughter enjoys her classes so much. Highly recommended.
