Very good for child mind.

I have been attending this dojo for over 3 years now after attending another dojo most of my life. I have never had the detailed instruction i have had until i started training at Shotokan Karate Academy. Hanshi Rick Llewellyn is an amazing instructor with great knowledge, he even trains with us in class! After looking around in my area for a closer dojo to attend, i cant imagine training anywhere else. I drive almost an hour and a half twice a week to attend! Everyone is friendly and welcoming right away, i felt i have been training with them forever. I love this dojo!

As the head instructor I would like to thank everyone who is part of my karate family. You guys are amazing people.

I had a wonderful time there, i quit because I couldn't Balance school and tae-kwon-do, but I really regret it. It had amazing class and it was like a second family every one is supper nice. I learned a lot from it. I love it. You should put your kid in the program they will love it and have lots of fun get the chance to learn deciplin and hard work.

Old kyokuhsin lineage, full contact karate with alive sparring, excellent instructors, great for adults as well as kids.

Tom is very knowledgeable and is great with the kids. I highly recommend FMAA to anyone looking to get their child into karate. I have seen much improvement in my sons discipline and listening/following directions. My son has bilateral cochlear implants and he's learning how to listen and communicate. My son is thriving so well, thanks to Tom's exceptional training and patient.

I would give this place more stars if I could. My child enjoys coming to class at Dae Han every week. The staff is caring and patient. The set-up is family friendly, so you can watch the class inside or from video monitors in a different room. I don't know how they stay in business with all the instructors! Unlike previous experiences at different martial arts studios, the teacher student ratio here is intentionally low. There are usually 3 to 4 black belt instructors present at all times. The classes have about 10 to 25 students. Also, I like the fact sparring is optional at a different time with protective gear. It is not forced into the curriculum.

Very experienced master. My kids enjoy going to Taekwondo and learning from Master Ur. He places great attention to their learning proper technique, building strength and flexibility. They have learned so much from him very quickly.

My daughter started young and I absolutely love it. She is tought many skills and held accountable for her own success.

I can't say enough about this school. I booked my twin boys birthday party here (found it online) and it was by far the best party we've ever been to. Ryan was easy to work with, accommodating, and patient (which can be challenging with 16 six year olds). The kids (and parents) were blown away with the demonstrations and loved the quick lesson and obstacle course. They even provided goodie bags! My kids are now begging to enroll... what a great alternative to the typical bouncy house places. I would recommend this to everyone and plan to tell all my fellow parents about it. Thanks for an awesome party!

looking for a Tae Kwon Do school that teaches your child discipline, honor and respect. Vallejos Tae Kwon Do is the school for you. All 3 of my children attend classes there. Their ages are 14, 9 and 5. Ma'am Debbie and KJN not only teach our children martial art techniques but they also teach them life lessons that happens in the outside world. For the past 2 years that we have been going, I see so much change in my kids and I have to Thank KJN and Ma'am Debbie for this.
