What a tremendous asset to Colorado Springs! This school is an amazing gem that follows the wonderful traditions of karate while providing so many additional opportunities. Not only can you train in traditional empty hand but one can also learn a variety of traditional Japanese weapons as well. I have seen younger adults have an opportunity to become certified trainers which gives them tremendous life skills. Sensei Cupples has a dedication for giving back to the community that she passes on to her students. The unparalleled dedication to safety and cooperation is one that is unique and genuinely appreciated. Having come back to training as an adult after loving karate as a child, I am so beyond thrilled to have found this school.

My son has been trained about 10 years under Master Kim. There have been ups and downs in his long pursuit of TaeKwonDo. The master's real value shines when there were downs. With his willingness to help and guide, he could manage to navigate through the difficulties. This is a place not only learn TaeKwonDo, but also the wisdom to survive hardships.

Sensei Grace and her instructors have an excellent program that our kids enjoy. They understand how to work with kids of all ages. Both of my girls, ages 7 and 10 enjoy their time and look up to, and consider Sensei Grace a roll model.

I recently moved to Littleton and was looking to find a place to train BJJ. I had a small amount of grappling experience but nothing extensive. Admittedly, before joining Katharo, I was pretty intimidated - I knew stepping into a new gym (let alone one full of experienced grapplers) would feel that way. However, now that I've been training here for just over a month, I realize that feeling was unwarranted. Immediately from the first training session the members have been extremely welcoming. Professor Hordinski and his coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and are teaching BJJ to the newest white belts (like myself) all the way to high level competitors. If you've been looking for the right BJJ gym to join - you found it.

Our family loves this dojang- The Evins' (Ms. Michele and Mr. Jim) are the hands-on owners and they and their staff go above and beyond to teach self-defense skills to all ages. Our son just celebrated his 6th birthday here with an incredibly well-run party. Ms. Sydney was the lead instructor/party host and she was amazing! She connected with 14 5/6-year-olds, made sure everyone was engaged and having fun, managed the games/lunch/cake and enjoyed herself. Her 3 assistants (Mr. Ryota, Mr. Camden & Ms. Lily) were fantastic, too - attentive, helpful& made sure everything ran smoothly. They provided the activities, pizza, drinks, plates/untensils & goodie bags. We brought the birthday boy and the cake! Everyone had a great time & it was so low-stress for us. We highly recommend them!

i have been taking my two grand children to KK for the past 2.5 years. it has been more of a positive formative experience for my grandchildren than anything outside of their home. i feel very indebted to Mr. Rickey and his extraordinary cadre of instructors for their excellent mentorship of my grandchildren. anything to the contrary in any of the reviews here should be entirely disregarded. i am an unpaid devotee of KK.

We have attended BAM's Martial Arts and Fitness a little over 2 years. We decided that our Daughter needed self defense classes one of the many services they offer. I'm happy to say that we have experienced most of them. My daughter has grown leaps and bounds, not just in Martial Arts, but, school, focus, self discipline, and, self confidence since her tenure here. I saw the joy she had in learning something new everyday that I was also motivated to take Tai Chi class. What they offer is a complete program mind, body and spirit, while learning traditional Martial Arts and fitness in a loving and supportive environment. You simply can't come into contact with them and leave the same way! I can't speak for anyone else, however, this has been our families experience.

A great family friendly place to train wether you are just starting off in Jiujitsu or already at the world championship level.
