Martial Arts

Great instructor, friendly staff, and good training partners. Definitely an excellent place to learn Muay Thai.

Great teacher, great community, great program all around. Very affordable and fair. You get what you pay for as long as you put in the effort. I'm currently a black belt and plan on practicing with this studio for years to come.

I’ve been a student of Master Levys for over 10 years now and I have had a wonderful experience. Not only is he a great and passionate teacher of the martial arts, but he is also a caring and loving person. He has taught me the value of self defense as well as the value of hard work and disicipline. I am extremely grateful to Master Levy for being a fantastic teacher and role model.

This Dojo is the BEST!!! I've been a judo student here since 1986 and I will ALWAYS continue to represent Cranford Judo! This dojo has not only taught me great judo but has also taught me and helped me develop discipline, manners, punctuality, strength, stamina, tenacity, toughness, confidence and respect for others! This Dojo has and continues to produces Hall of Fame Athletes in the Sport of Judo, Karate & Sumo! All the Sensei's are there to help and develop all students to become the best they can be especially Sensei Nicky Yonezuka, who is also the owner of the club! So if I were you, I would defiantly come on in and check it out!

my experience at kung fu san soo was a great thing i love the people in the school. it is one of the worlds best self defense schools people who love kung fu u should come and cheek out kung fu san soo.

Aikido at Both Hands Clapping is so much more than simply learning moves. Along with well rounded instruction, where beginners practice along side more experienced students, classes finish with zen meditation. Who thought learning aikido would start me on a path to calming my mind. The instructor clearly puts a lot of thought and effort into teaching, working hard to provide clear instruction and feedback.

Master Johnson and his staff: Instructor Cambell, Mr King, and Asst Instructor Lee are outstanding. They teach so much more than "moves" and "techniques". They train the individual to become a warrior in mind, body, and spirit. I feel ready to deal with any threatening situation where I would need to protect myself and those I love. In addition to the hand-to-hand defense courses, I also study stick/knife fighting and tactics involving firearms. I am currently in the process of obtaining my CCW certification through Shockwave, and I have been very impressed by the curriculum and knowledge base of the instructors. If you are thinking about getting self defense training, regardless of you experience, age, gender, etc..., I highly recommend you do so with Master Johnson and the staff at Shockwave.

Never been but looks cool, but not cool enough for 5 stars. (4/5)

this place is a great environment for training and learning judo and jiu-jitsu with sensei Tony Camal and sensei Jamie Cruz.

Great variety of classes, friendly and World Class staff! 5 Stars!

Training is vigorous and detailed. Students are very welcoming and ready to pass on all of what they learn. Great place to deepen your Shotokan foundation and an even greater place to learn what it's all about :)
