Martial Arts

We have been attending the Panda Jiu Jitsu classes for over a month and I have nothing but good things to say. The classes are a lot of fun and the teachers are great with the kids. Care is taken so that every child receives the attention required to thrive. I highly recommend parents give it a try.

Always involved in competitive sport, the martial arts eluded me during my youth. I've always been highly active and interested in signing up in some sort of martial arts training but the process of being a 'beginner' seemed intimidating. My experience at Patenaude Nepean with Sifu Silvain made me wish I had done this many years ago! His knowledge, professionalism, tact, and delivery are purely natural and highly encouraging. I look forward to every session and benefit tremendously from all the aspects of training. He has fostered a welcoming environment in his school where students of all ages, backgrounds, and experience share the journey. I highly recommend trying Fang Shen Do to anyone out there looking for a genuine and rewarding experience.

Knowledgeable, patient, structured - great for my child!

Great training programs. Very personable instructors.

I signed my daughter up here at 6 years old. We have been regulars here for 7 years now. They are pretty flexible with our schedule which is often very hectic and have allowed for breaks in training when needed. Karate has been great for my daughters focus, strength, and self esteem.

The best of the best !

The lessons were fun and the main instructor was great! One of the assistant instructors (Callum) was quite rude and condescending. Callum cost 2 stars.

Excellent instruction, very dedicated and educated instructors. TOP notch and "real" karate-do

When I walked through the doors of K2 martial arts Ottawa, I weighed a staggering 270 pounds and smoked two packs a day. I needed a change. I enrolled in the Traditional Jiu-Jitsu/ Krav Maga and cage fitness program. Six years later all is history. Since then, I have received my advanced brown belt in Krav Maga and I'm currently working towards my black belt. Over time I've tried the many programs that K2 had to offer. With many years spent training in the kickboxing program, I currently have a gold level 5. With a fantastic Kickboxing coach like Alain Moussi (Kickboxer Vengence, Retalliation, Hollywood movie star), you can't go wrong. I've been a part of the BJJ program @ K2 for many years, which I currently have a blue belt with two stripes. Most recently, with the amazing coaching of BJJ black belts Scott Fitzpatrick, Aksell Nicolaides and Alain Moussi, I was able to place 3rd in Naga Worlds 2017 (New Jersey) and win a gold medal in the Ontario Open 2017 (Brampton) competing in the 190-pound division (weight loss of 80 pounds). K2 has always hosted great seminars with special guests like UFC's Matt Hughes and Tyrone Woodly. Other guests included Marcas Avalon (Kimura Trap System), Machado Family and many more. K2's BJJ program is under Carlos Machado, one of the highest ranked instructors in the world and the nephew of one of the founders of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I can't recommend K2 enough! The atmosphere is always welcoming and enjoyable. The instructors are very helpful, sincere, and knowledgeable. If you want the best Martial Arts Training available in Canada's Capital I would Recommend K2martial arts Ottawa. For the review haters. K2 can help you become the best you could possibly be. Though it's your responsibility to make that happen. You'll only go as far as you'll allow yourself to go. #joejitsu78 #k2Joe #Google #Googleplus #Googlebusiness #Googlereview #Youtube #Ottawa #Ottawasbest #OttawabJJ #Ottawamachado #Ottawamma #Ottawakravmaga #Ottawakickboxing #OttawaJiujitsu #Ottawamartialarts #Kravmaga #Jiujittsu #BJJ #MMA #Kickboxing #Cagefitness

Teachers are friendly and kind. Good self defense classes for children to encourage discipline and good principles.
