Alan and his team have helped me immeasurably... At 52, I am stronger, and in better shape to defend myself than I've ever been... Alan's methods train you to be AWARE, not just paranoid or cautious, but aware of your surroundings... He not only trains in what to do in you in a confrontational situation, but in ways to avoid that situation in the first place! Great work ethic and worth every penny!

Excellent school - very kid-friendly. Shifu Alex Oleksa has a good way with kids across a wide range of ages and skills - firmly promoting discipline and focus in a patient, gentle manner. I've been impressed by the progress kids make in his program. Most start out as (naturally) highly-distracted, uncoordinated, shy children, but make big gains in focus, coordination, and self-confidence over the course of their first year in the program. I've watched the more advanced classes and see that the growth trend continues. Shifu Alex places a strong emphasis on character development, too, with weekly discussions about honesty, integrity, positivity, etc. during stretches. The kids respect him, so they listen intently and so will benefit in other aspects of their lives. It's not a cheap program, but it's worth it.
