I recommend Uxbridge Taekwondo Academy and Master Jason Mouna to the community of Uxbridge. Master Mouna is one of my long time students and he is an exceptional Master in the art of Taekwondo.

I moved to St. Catharines 3 years ago for work, and joined the St. Catharines Martial Arts Centre a few months after that. I had previously studied Goju Ryu Karate with another organization, and trained in a few other styles of marital arts over the years. And my experience at St. Catharines Martial Arts Centre has far surpassed anything I've experienced thus far. The curriculum is diverse filled with many complimenting forms, and is based in a direct linage. There are also many different seminars throughout the year for all age ranges. With over 30 years of experience Sensei Toth and the other instructors are passionate, knowledgeable and dedicated teachers. And it has been my honour to train under them. I would recommend St. Catharines Martial Arts Centre to anyone on the spectrum of interest in the martial arts beginner-advance and I would especially recommend it to someone who wants to try something new you won't regret it!

I did jiu jitsu here for quite a while here when i was younger, one of the best things ive ever done and im considering returning though now an adult.

The best instructors ever!

Words cannot describe how much my child's life has improved when he started kickboxing at the DMA. Although much of any extra-curricular is about a good fit for the child, and it has been a fantastic fit for ours, Emily and Thor at Determination Martial Arts have made a very special space for children and adults. Our son is trans, and not once has he faced a single moment of bias. The space is incredibly positive and has a feeling of safety and inclusiveness like no other I have come across. Emily is patient and very kind, and connects with her students in a respectful and kindly authoritative manner. Her teaching style encompasses compassion, and is tempered with a willingness to encourage her students to test their limits and be better beyond their expectations. It's a complex method, and she makes it look effortless.

Something for the entire family...top-notch, professional instructors, friendly and approachable owners...we've danced as a family here for 4 years now and love it!

I have been there for five years. My son and I are fortunate enough to have the Nash's here for us. People expect them to raise their kids. Want special treatment ? I don't know what exactly people want from this club but I get everything I have ever wanted or needed .
