Martial Arts

ONLY good things to say about the school. I was into martial arts in Europe & Mid. East, partly as work & army training & I know what good teacher means ! Too many people in Canada teach martial arts who actually not qualify to do that. KS Cho is a Korean Grand Master & teaches classes himself. He performs athletically like a Grand Master, come & see yourself! I saw some dojos in those schools way out of shape, not able to lift a leg to kick. I don't know who commented poorly on the school?! Must a be a lazy whiner, who wants to do notning & get his black belt in a month. We had few of those drop offs, but not many. Taekwando is for people who ready to work hard to get in their best shape physically & mentally & get the results!

Our son is almost 5, and we've struggled to find something that interests him, and challenges him while being fun. Since signing him up for tae kwon do, we've never once had to fight with him to go, and he always has a blast. The joy we have when we see how proud he is of himself, and how much he enjoys himself, is irreplaceable and unexplainable!

My son and daughter both go to the kid class and they love it! They are taught respect and great skills while always remembering to have fun. Great instructors, we are always greeted with a smile. Would recommend for children and adults of any age!

My son has been part of this academy since 2011. He has grown so much from this experience, not only in attitude, but with his schoolwork and grades. I highly recommend Newton Blackbelt Academy for your child (ren). The staff are so great with the kids.

My daughter and grandson look forward to it each week.

Hands down the best team I have ever had the pleasure to train with. I always feel safe and welcomed each time I come back to Vernon to visit.

I would definitely recommend empower boxing, I've been going for about 3 years now and it's a great place. After a long day it's awesome to head down and release some tension during class. The instructors are highly knowledgeable and make the classes enjoyable.
