I started 1 year ago and i loved it there. The instructor was so nice and gave really good advice. At the Foothills Karate they get some of the best tournaments for the students. I love getting to learn karate there. I really recommend the fkkc Okinowan karate dojo.

I started going to alpha martial arts a few years ago and have nothing but absolutely positive things to say about the program. Every class I have taken (crossfit, kickboxing, and muay thai) have pushed me both mentally and physically in the best ways possible. Not to mention, all of those classes are great ways to get in shape. The coaching staff is incredibly motivating and supportive. Mr Herrman has created a wonderful atmosphere where everyone feels welcome and taken care of. I have continued going to Alpha, not only because of the rigorous workouts that are fun and challenging, but also because the community is simply irreplaceable. Whether you are looking to change up your workout routine, try something new, or just want a good kick in the butt, I could not recommend Alpha enough.

I did the adult kick boxing class and found it to be great for all levels. Its a quick and fun total body workout where you can get all that extra aggression out. Plus, when you sign up you get a pair of boxing gloves--free! The class sizes are perfect, its never overly crowded. The instructors Tina and Stephanie are fun and encouraging :) I'll be back for more!

I originally enrolled at Seattle Integrated Martial Arts because I was having problems at home and I needed a way to let out stress and get in better shape. What I found here was so much more. Originally I was shy and intimidated training with these guys who could completely crush me if they wanted, but one of the philosophies at SIMA is that anyone should feel comfortable training with anyone else. Over the past 3 years SIMA has become an important part of my life with many of my training partners becoming very close friends. I'm more confident now and in better shape than I have been in in the past 18 years. It's a wonderful community so drop on it, give it a chance and see how it can change your life.

My son has learned slot from attending Legacy ATA. I love this place and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a positive activity for their kids.

This club starts classes in September so I am unable to rate class quality yet, however the owner is very friendly and easy to talk to. He appears to know his stuff and was able to answer all of my questions quickly and accurately. If the dojo runs the same way it promises to be a great experience!

Stopped in to view children's & adult martial arts classes. A local visit after stopping in on some martial Arts schools in Missoula, and elsewhere. The first class I watched was a children's class taught by an older woman. Very disappointing. She ran the class like a children's playroom and their performance during the class indicated they had been taught next to nothing. No instruction of any kind was given compared to other martial arts schools I visited. Certainly not a learning environment for children who would respond well to qualified instructors. Probably a good reason why there are very few students in this class. Class and instructor 1 star. I watched the adult class which is offered twice a week for Arnis a Phillipine Martial Art. It is taught by a Mr. Vacarro who claims to be a Master but no posted credentials to indicate that. The first thing noticeable was the instructor's limp at times. Though the class didn't waste time and covered material it appeared to be presented in a non curriculum format, lots of this and that which was confirmed by viewing another class at a later date, difficult method for students of any level to learn in a consistent manner. The attendance in the class was low with mostly beginning students and only 2 advanced level students. Compared to other schools with very large class attendance indicating a well established school. Other things that stood out were at times the instructor at times demeaning to senior age students, playing the bongo drums during some of the drills ??, limited instruction for beginning students, expecting respect even off the martial arts training area, etc. Certainly the instructor, a senior adult himself, tries but I dont feel he succeeds. The sparring section among students was mostly poor in my opinion and not indicative of students with actual skills. I have viewed a number of escrima Phillipine Martial Arts schools/classes in California and there is no comparison to Legacy which has a far lower standard of instruction and expertise. Only two Arnis classes are offered each week and the school is closed for the summer (3 months plus). This is hardly a good learning environment for serious students and something not seen in all the schools I have visited which had a far number of classes and programs and a number of black belt instructors to assist the head instructor. Examples Aikido SchoolS in Missoula and Kalispell, and the Tae Kwon Do schools in Missoula and Kalispell, as well as an excellent Judo program by Kodakan certified instructors at the U. of M. My own experience comes from two martial arts that I studied over 15 years ago. Japanese Karate that I reached brown belt in, and Judo in high school and at the U of M at brown belt level. (Brown belt just below 1st degree black belt). The credentials of these master instructors was impeccable and verifiable along with a much higher level of instruction and expertise thaN seen at the Victor school. The only thing that was impressive was the training area at the Victor school. Though Mr. Vacarro claims to be a master in the martial arts there is no evidence of this when I think of the numerous masters I met and viewed during my Karate and Judo experience. Perhaps age has caught up with him. Articles are posted by the Ravalli Republic with some FACTS that are incorrect, but it is known that the quality of journalism is poor. Reviews by newcomers to the martial arts are rarely accurate since they rarely have the background, experience, lack of homework before enrolling,etc. required to give an accurate review of a martial arts school. Discussions with other high ranked martial artists in Montana tell me that Mr. Vacarro is not a 7th Dan Black Belt. Background was good in Tae Kwon Do but at a much lower level, limited training with Remy Presas in Arnis, and other scattered limited experience. They did say he is great about talking about skills ad nauseum. Other than talk, photos and newspaper clippings not much in credentials is presented. .

Share a tip.I wanted to share how proud we were to be a part of the Bethany USWC Taekwondo program - watching our son Charlie (and others) hard work, diligence, and passion realized, win or lose, at last weeks tournament. We attribute our sons growth n...ot only as a student of martial arts, but that as a person, as a young man, to the program led by Chief Master George. I can't think of a better parenting decision the day we chose to enroll both of our children in the USWC Bethany school and Do Jang. With the expertise and training from Master Marius and the direction and guidance from Master George, we, as parents, continue to be excited and impressed by the ongoing levels of growth our children benefit from via the USWC Taekwondo program. Thank you Chief Master George, Master Marius, and everyone else in the Bethany family for making this an outstanding learning experience.

I've had the privilege of training at Greatway for 8 years now, and every moment has been a blast. They have the perfect ratio of fun and workout to keep you focused, happy, and fit. Great dojo. Very experienced senior instructors and friendly atmosphere. Classes from kids 3-4 to adults 50+.

This Place just has kids go through rank with improper form. They never worked on Self Defense over 3 years while my child attended. The owner Although Very Skilled hardly ever trains the students which is very sad! They bring in exchange students from Korea which is cool yet how are they supposed to teach the students if they cannot communicate!?! I find myself writing this review in searching for a real Dojo for my kid.. one that will Teach in all aspects of Tae Kwon Do/Hapkido If you used to train watch close...Avoid this $$$ Machine
