Key Martial Arts is a life saver for my family and I. Our son has transformed into a more focused, less aggressive, and less fearful child. Originally, our plan was to have him in karate between sports, but that has since changes... he is on the journey to becoming a black belt.
KickForce Martial Arts

I would recommend Kickforce to anyone, it's more than martial arts, it's also character development and self improvement. The instructors have a passion and drive and are invested in their students. When you take lessons here, you're part of a family.
Eagle Martial Arts

The beauty of this school is that not only will your child be able to earn their black belt they are also learning core values of respect, honesty, discipline, etc. It's wonderful to see my children learn these valuable lessons that are not just taught but are also modeled by the instructors. They are running a top notch program and that's why once you take their classes you don't go anywhere else and you see the many values that come from them.

Ben is an exceedingly talented jiu jitsu practitioner/competitor as well as an all around great person. I’ve had the good fortune to be able to train with Ben over the better part of the last decade and am really happy to see him open his own club in Cochrane. If you’re interested in trying out the wonderful art of jiu jitsu you couldn’t ask for a better instructor and training space. Highly recommend!

I started my oldest son in karate last year for 2 reasons. The first reason was Nicolas was having trouble with his speech, as many children do, but along with speech therapy I wanted to ensure I was instilling as much confidence in my child as possible. I knew the speech would come but kids can be cruel and I wanted to ensure that Nicolas had as much self confidence as possible and I believe that martial arts, specifically karate, in this case can enhance self esteem. Nicolas has come a long way in the last year and much has improved but he is so proud of his achievements in karate. He has had 3 belt promotions and has even taken his current belt to show his kindergarten class for his show and tell class. Both Sensei Trevor and Sensei Lauren are extremely helpful and supportive with all the children but specifically never made a 'big deal' of Nicolas's pronunciation of words. Actually, even one day which I will never forget ( I'm sure Sensei Trevor doesn't remember) he even called out another student for laughing at my son. I also truly appreciated the class on bullying! I knew from then on that this was the Dojo that Nicolas was meant to be at. The second reason is that martial arts is very important to my husband and is his main form of exercise and has always been his way to unwind. He feels it's important to raise our children with teachings of martial arts. Once my other two children are old enough to begin karate at Arashi Do they will also become members.
Thanks to both Sensei Trevor and Sensei Lauren!

I’ve always wanted to learn martial arts since I was a kid. Finding the right teacher/school seemed to be difficult, as some Sifu’s were making Jeet Kune Do seem like a kill first style, and it didn’t feel right to join those schools. I came upon the WCMAA website and as I researched the Sifu’s and learned of their lineage of teaching I felt I had to give “these guys” a shot. I was not disappointed, not only did I feel welcomed on day one but the people who I can now call classmates (and friends if I can get off work and come more than a couple times a month to get to know you all better) made it that much better. Learning different styles or techniques or in Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do a philosophy, I’m becoming a better version of myself. As an addict to alcohol and being clean for over a year and a half I’ve found something else to be addicted to (the extra finances don’t hurt either lol). I’ve bought a lot of Sijo (or Sigung I can remember which order) Bruce’s books to understand him better. As well as reading up on the history of Wing Chun. Anyway, I recommend this Academy not only because of the people or Sifu’s/Guro’s but for this great adventure (not to mention you might get worked so hard you’ll be sick.. not that it happened to me or anything... honest... no it happened) there’s nothing better than pushing your limits/boundaries to see how strong you can be or become. Give it a try, what do have to lose? Oh and as students of WCMAA we have a direct line to Guro Dan Inosanto, like how friggin cool is that. That’s like 3 degrees of Bruce Lee!
