I recently moved from Vernon to Vancouver. Since I didn't have too much time I decided to go with a local moving company and Hugo's Moving showed up at the top of the list with the highest number of positive reviews, so I contracted them for my move. The entire process was seamless starting with Amanda showing up the next day to assess my stuff to move. I had furniture in two bedrooms and 1 motorcycle. On the day of the move the packers (Cole and Colson if I remember correctly) showed up on time and started packing/loading my stuff. I really appreciate that they did their job with a smile on their face and were extremely flexible to last minute changes. They made sure to use carpets on the floor and padding on the walls to ensure no scratches were left in the house and all my furniture was wrapped with carpets. Kyle was there to make sure my motorcycle, which is dear to me, was loaded up good. The consignment arrived as planned and on time. There was a quick pit stop made to my storage facility in Vancouver to off-load some of my stuff there and the balance was taken to my apartment. One box was taken to my apartment instead of being left at the storage facility and Kyle was quick to offer to take it back after they were done at the residence. The entire move was quick, painless, delivered as promised with absolutely no dings, dents or scratches and everything in one piece. Overall I cannot say how pleased I am with the move. This was my first move in Canada and I cant say I've had too much experience with this, however, with the service rendered by Hugo's Moving they'll be the first I call if I ever need to move again. Absolutely phenomenal people in this company. From Jan to Rick, his sons and other employees, they were exceptional. Friendly, hard working, and attention to detail make them the finest movers we have ever had the pleasure of being moved by. Truly amazing! Thanks gang.

Sleezy, greasy crack addicted looking smelled funny people

That Guy Can lines was a truly amazing experience. I have never used them before but they took my stuff from Victoria to Calgary. They gave me a quote and that is what I paid. The office staff communicated the times as the day move in Victoria unfolded and were mindful of my timelines but were frank about the road conditions and mindful of their drivers hours. Moving time the movers arrived on time. They were courteous, professional, organised, businesslike and very careful of my stuff. I cannot say enough good things about them. Then different movers drove to Calgary for an unpack. I never thought I would get the same high standard movers who were so organised and businesslike, efficient and polite. There was a delay on the TransCanada which created a bit of a delay but the office staff and driver were frank about that too. The office staff went way past the standard of a reasonably diligent person and from taking the order to organising the truck and trying to listen to my own personal deadlines. They were so courteous and professional. All in all I would put this moving company at the top of anyone's list. My move cost what was quoted. I am not affiliated with this company and this was an unsolicited comment that I gave to them.

I have dealt with multiple storage facilities in the Okanagan, Falcon Self Storage is, by far, the best storage company I have had the pleasure of using for my personal storage. April 2018 We moved from West Kelowna to Kamloops and these men were absolutely awesome! Quick and efficient and very detailed. We were very impressed and would definitely use them again. We had some very large paintings which they wrapped and boxed for us. In our new home they made sure every box was in the correct room and helped put floor protectors on all the furniture. I would never use this company again nor recommend them to anyone. They damage your items and then deny it was them and take zero responsibility to make it right.

Facebook just showed me the picture I took 1 year ago today of my Big Steel Box of belongings being dropped off at our new house. I have to say, you definitely know these guys are doing it right when after a YEAR you still feel 100% satisfied with the service they provided.

Totally unreliable. Contacted company on 10 NOV 2017 to arrange a local move. Rep advised that they could do the move on the dates requested. Was told that someone would come to the house the next day to give estimate. No show. Contacted representative on the 11th and he advised that he forgot. Agreed to do estimate on 12th. When no one arrived again contacted the Company. Representative advised that they cannot do the move and that he texted me accordingly. This is a bold face lie....the only phone number I provided was the home phone, so not quite sure if he actually tried contacting me. Dishonesty and unreliability are not habits you want when contracting a company to move your household items. During my career I moved both long haul, and local 12 times. Never have I encountered such unprofessionalism in a moving company. RAG 13 NOV 2017
