Movers

My aunt in Halifax past away a few weeks ago and I needed someone to move a few items to my parent's place in Truro. I goggled Halifax movers and Moore Moving Systems were one of the ones that came up. After searching this site and others for reviews I decided to call Moore. Pete was very helpful and accommodating to my situation. Their prices were reasonable, especially as my aunt had lived in a three story walk up. No extra charges. Pat and Mike showed up early on the day of the move to meet me at the apartment. They were courteous and friendly and very careful with a few antique furniture pieces, wrapping them in blankets before moving them down the stairs to the truck. The fellas were efficient and had the job done quickly. I met them at my parent's place and they moved the items into the basement, being careful and respectful of my elderly parents. They had to rearrange things a couple of times for my dad to be happy, which they did with smiles and respect. Pete even called me during the move to ensure that all was going well. I would definitely recommend Moore Movers for any move you may have.

Great location and great service. Units are clean and easy to get to.

Can't say enough about how good Burgess Transfer is, but here's a few words: We had 3500 lbs from a large 1 bedroom apt moved across the country. One 4-man skilled team of pros boxed and loaded in, and another 4-man skilled team of pros unloaded, skippered by the same captain. A very heavy piano was part of the load. Emphatically saying these guys are good is a blatant understatement. You won't go wrong with this bunch.

They are a very professional company. I strongly recommend them for domestic or international moves.

Thanks to Hoyt's Moving and Storage for helping make such a trouble free move. The movers showed up exactly when you said they would and were very courteous. They provided wardrobe boxes and offered to set them up if I didn't know how. With the quick work of the three crew members the bill was under the estimate... despite them having to wait at my new apartment since the keys weren't ready when we arrived. Thanks again!

Horrendous company... run. Fees were not transparent, and the final cost was several thousand more than expected. Items were lost from storage, and extensive damage to items. Overpriced insurance would not cover all damages. Damage also to my newly built home, which was also not covered. A horrendous experience, adding significant stress to an already difficult move. This company is a disaster. Reported to BBB, but the company would not respond. I cannot stress enough, but this company should be avoided at all costs. Sickening!!!

Delivery people were very ignorant when told not to leave items in the hall of the building.

They are so efficient and taking care of stuff nicely. I’m ganna ask them when I move out. Thank you:)

I look after an apartment building and asked the driver today to move their big truck off the side walk and all I get was buddy swearing at me tell me to find off and get a life and other things all the time he was here . I would not recommend this company to my enemy

Disgustingly rude

Great property maintenance company that shows you their units for rent and then drops off the face of the earth when you try to inquire about/apply for one. Probably for the best because I'd hate to see what happens when their tenants actually need them. Good luck getting a hold of them for anything!

I had an excellent experience! Very clean and safe facility, friendly and accommodating office staff. I would definitely recommend Apple Storage and/or use it again.

Limpio, ordenado bien situado y nada caro

Email response was quick to answer any questions I had, the tracking function was easy to use and accurate, and the car got shipped on the exact date that was anticipated. The pick-up went smoothly though I couldn't be there, and all looks good! This was my first time shipping a car (from Vancouver to Toronto), and I was pleased with this service.

Just a cool building. It's pretty neat.

Leonard Hoyt and his team have been terrific in arranging my shipment from Nova Scotia to England. Responding quickly to every email, taking lots of time to explain the processes involved and packing all the items efficiently make a good service but, to me, what tips it into excellent is the cheerful and courteous manner of everyone involved. Moving is stressful and Hoyts International made it easier in so many ways. Thank you.
