Very disappointed in the customer service here. I bought glasses for my daughter here recently. They included a "warranty". I use the term loosely. An arm has literally fallen off her glasses for the third time. The cheap glue comes off the arm end of the spring and they can't be repaired. She has had 3 pairs of glasses before these and has not broken any of them. New Look would not cover the arm under warranty. I paid $50 each for the first 2 broken arms. With the third one, I said no more. The frames clearly have a defect. New look will not address the problem. All they have to say is, "she must have broken them." I give them a generous 2 stars. Update - the store manager came through and replaced the frames without charge. I have changed from 2 to 3 stars.

Dr. Ricard helped me with a really severe viral eye infection and was even booked follow ups with me to make sure everything was ok! Very friendly and informative. I will definitely come back for future appointments. On a side note, his assistant kept telling me how jealous she was of my long eyelashes and then kept trying to blow air into my eye and missing because of set eyelashes.....annoying at the time, but really funny in hindsight. =)

Pretty interior, kind and fast service.

Recently needing a new pair of glasses I decided to look for a local place. The last one I went to is also local, but their warranty and service was not up to par. I went in to Wyandotte Optical and went through the usual new patient trappings. Their forms are thorough and ask the right questions without being 20 pages long. I was in the back beginning the first exams within a few minutes of my appointment. I got through all of those and in to see Dr. Stein. He started to do his exanining and noticed an issue I had in one eye (did not know I had it either), then explained what it was and how it was going to be fixed. I knew it ar that point anyhow, but he also said that we would wait for the eye to heal before we went any further with eye exams, that way we get the correct results instead. He was very cordial, down to earth and friendly. He is also conversational and will talk to you about whatever pops up about your interests and whatnot. Once I finished the treatment for the eye, I went back and finished the rest of the exams with Dr. Stein and got fitted for new glasses that day. It took only a week for them to come in and the whole process was a breeze. They took care of everything in that office and I felt like all I had to do was show up! They also did a great job of breaking down the insurance coverages and everything else related to that and did such a good job that I had no questions to ask. Everyone that I have interacted with so far in the office has been fantastic and super friendly. If you are looking for a great, family-friendly eye doctor with a fun sense of humor (and a penchant for wild socks) you will be absolutely satisfied with Dr. Stein and the staff at Wyandotte Optical.

I have been going to Dr. Ruh since I was a child. He is friendly and helpful. He answers all of my questions and is very thorough in his exams to make sure I have the correct prescription for my glasses and contacts. He listens to my concerns and and always gives excellent service! I absolutely recommend Dr. Ruh!

I tried them for the first time after going to America's Best for the past 10 years & multiple eye glass stores before that. They had the best customer service I have ever had & they have the best selection of glasses. I fully recommend them.

Really impressed with this location! Fantastic customer service-Melissa especially, really helped me to find the right frame and lens. Extremely knowledgeable and helped me discover the lens I truly needed. I was unable to adjust to transitions but she made a frustrating situation, a pleasurable experience. Gave me many options and was committed to finding the best fit for me. Highly recommend this place

First off I am not some fanboy and I really don't understand all the negative reviews. This is a review of the basic service two pairs of glasses special. I went in with thinking I was about to be ripped off. The offices are in cheap locations and are very basic and clinicy looking. I went over the special before I saw the optometrist and the deal was as stated with no BS. I also checked out the frames covered first so no surprises there. I was told about extras like bifocals which I understand. The Dr Gill was fantastic and explained all questions,best optometrist ever first rate exam. Then it was off to Rebecca for the ordering. She totally went over everything including using insurance, or not, to find out what way was cheaper. She explained the lens and frame options so you totally understand what you're getting into before you place the order. I went with the advertised special, nothing else except bifocals. If you don't like plastic lenses then don't get them,but you will pay extra. So anyways I used insurance and it came out cheaper than the advertised special,are you kidding me. I am used to paying four times more for the same glasses elsewhere ,one pair. Order is placed and I'm out the door. Two weeks go by and I started worrying again about where my glasses are that I already paid for. Finally everything is in and ready. I try them on and oh my God, the prescription is perfect and the frames are fantastic. They really we're just about free for what I paid. Give this place a shot, for the price you can't go wrong. Just remember to listen for your options and don't order something you don't really want. I will never go back to my usual places CoOp and RX ever again. Rip offs.
