I recommend staying clear of this place. The receptionist is really nice and that is the only positive thing I have to say. The first set of sunglasses did not work for my eyes which was not their fault. They ordered the wrong replacement sunglasses and my other glasses had defective lenses twice. They tried to tell me the lenses warped because of the heat. I had three other eye glass shops confirm that was not true. I've had glasses for 10 years and have never had this issue. They are obviously poor quality lenses. The second set of lenses didn't have anti glare which I paid for. How can you continue to screw things up that badly? I finally gave up and got new glasses elsewhere. They tried to make things right but failed miserably. I have heard about some other bad experiences at this shop as well. There are many other options, I recommend avoiding this place!

.........First Optical had many more excellent frames available in my price range and style than other optical stores. The staff was very friendly and helpful. An assortment of free products were included in my purchase. Here's where they earned that fifth star....I ordered them on Monday....and picked them up on Friday.

I recently had my first appointment and was blown away by the professionalism, kindness and friendly staff at the office. I received a state of the art eye exam that will allow me to care for my eyes currently as well as build a platform and plan to care for them over time.

Thank you to Dr Pond for the prompt, caring service. Dr Pond recognized a tear in my retina when I came in with new “floaters”. She made a call to the ivy eye institute and with in hours I had laser surgery to fix the issue and prevent further issues. She knows her stuff! I trust her with my vision completely.

What a fantastic experience with Dr. Harrison and the team at Paris Family Eye Care. As a health professional, looking through my own patient experiences through a different lens (no pun intended), I was thoroughly impressed with the kindness, warmth, and care provided by all team members here. My medical history, exam, diagnostics and overall experience was incomparable to previous appointments with other providers prior to attending here. The information I received was valuable as far as educating me on everything from why I received certain diagnostics, what my results mean, to how my lifestyle can affect my eyes and why certain lenses are better than others. Dr. M Hall and staff are the best at what they do. Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, I've been coming here for over 10 years. Their selection of frames is fantastic and if you bring in your own they can create the lenses in-house in less than an hour. You won't regret getting your eyes checked at Water Street Eyecare - they really do care.
