My mum and i were being served by Saif, he is really attentive and friendly. Spent time to search for the perfect sunglasses for you us, also carefully adjusted them to improve our comfort in wearing them. 5* service. Thank you for a pleasant experience.

Well the much awaited revamp has happened. It hasn't obviously increased stock capacity but the layout seems much improved. The displays are clearly priced from £25 upwards to £165, frame plus different types of lenses too and the lighting above the racks is kinder on the eye and the complexion ! There's a tablet desk near the entrance so you can check out the website to order in a colour choice or use the ' how would l look in these frames' facility. For those of us who are very myopic this is invaluable. You no longer have to ask strangers in store what they think or press yourself up to the mirror and squint at your reflection. Staff won't let you select an unsuitable frame for your prescription or an unflattering one. The aftercare is brilliant too. No matter what kind of clutzy things you subject your new glasses to, they're ready willing and able to put them to rights, which makes the initial heavy financial outlay on new specs feel less painful. Never be frightened either to delay your choice by writing down style reference numbers you like, then checking them on line later to help you decide. Don't buy under pressure. Ask about donating your old frames to a charity too.The cleaning and adjustment machine is now just beside the till so getting a quick spruce really easy.

Dr Siah was professional and friendly. He took the time to make the right diagnostic and explain it to me. I will go back there when I will need new glasses.

Professional, careful eye test and excellent follow up where a problem has been spotted. Good selection of frames etc. and always friendly and relaxed with lots of help and advice.

Before I would give it a 5 star rating. Now I will give it a 1 star rating, because they changed their policy. Especially for the kids.

My favourite pair of Maui Jim sunglasses broke and I took them to KL. They were very friendly and helpful and they sent the glasses to Maui Jim for me. Today I picked them up and they have a new frame and look like new. I am blown away by the customer service at KL (and by Maui Jim as well). Thank you so much, it was an amazing experience for me!

Was in store yesterday with my pair of sunglasses which I had damaged (A part of frame was slightly bent) The staff were excellent! The curious part was I did not purchase them from David Clulow in Covent Garden rather a section of Selfridges. They repaired them in a few minutes, tighten the hinge and I mentioned if I could purchase a hard case to prevent future damage. Next thing I know I am given a spare case for free. I walked out in a slightly delirious state (positively speaking – I am obviously not use to such service and a free item) Amazing!

A customer of many years, I can't recommend the Optical Studio highly enough. They have excellent choices of frames and good advice about both lenses and contact lenses. Their eye tests are also very thorough so travel many miles to use them!

During a weekend break in London I lost a screw from my glasses. Thankyou to the lovely gentleman who put in a new screw and tightened the other one, with no charge! Excellent service! Donation given to their charity box instead. Many thanks.

If you wish to have a good eye test then I can highly recommend Optometrist Nisha at this Islington branch. I went for to try multi-focal contact lenses one last time after truly awful and extremely costly experiences at Specsavers Hackney. Nisha gave me the best eye exam I have ever had and she also listened properly to my rather unusual and complex activity/work needs. I was not rushed during the eye test so became relaxed and able to fully explain the problems I had been experiencing with my sight. I was not subjected to any pressure to buy new varifocal glasses - something most optician stores tend to do as that is their shop's trade after-all - even though the glasses I was wearing are a year old - so I am surprised that other reviewers have experienced this. My after sales service so far has been excellent. Orders have arrived within two days of ordering and I have received phone calls or emails to notify me of collections and appointments. Their phone has always been answered quickly when I have rang them. Feeling confident that there is good aftercare is important - in my short experience, this has been very good at the N1 branch. However, I think that the most important thing about any optician is the eye test, getting the right prescription and product that suits your eyes and this means it is about the optometrist themselves - Nisha has been the best!

Had a great experience with these guys on multiple occasions. The latest was when I needed a pair of prescription sports sunglasses. They don't stock the frames as standard in the shop but they arranged to get a selection in for me to try and I was able to pick a great pair. I'm very happy with the glasses and the whole experience of shopping with them was a complete pleasure.
