I had a good shopping experience.

Sadly, I cannot recommend Evans Mechanical. I had some heater work done and some additional duct sealing was also needed, but could not be done for 9 weeks. The tech that repaired the heater(he did a good job), spoke on the phone right in front of me with the scheduler and placed me on the schedule for the first week of February, 2018. Since they hadn't called me prior to this week, I called Evans to only find out I was never put on the schedule at all. I was then told I would need to be put back on the schedule for another months wait. The scheduler acted like it was my fault, no apology. Needless to say, I am not pleased at all.

Since moving into our current home 17 years ago, we have needed the services of a plumber on about a half dozen occasions. I had used four other plumbers with mixed results until I discovered Discount Plumbing. Bob Huntress was quick to respond to my call and was able to come in a timely manner. He is excellent at diagnosing the cause of problems and carefully explaining options before making repairs. His work has been top notch, his pricing very fair and carefully spelled out, and we have not even considered calling anyone else the several other times we've needed plumbing help

After quite an ordeal with our home warranty company sending random people to attempt to replace our hot water heater for excessive charges, we decided to make calls around the area. Luckily, we came across Scott at Carmel Plumbing and Heating. He was available, and offered a very competitive price based on what we described. The job was pretty straight forward and didn't require anything extra... and price was exactly what he quoted. We appreciated his work on that project, so we decided to call him back to replace a toilet that we had concerns about. This time, the project required a lot more attention... as a lot of older home repairs can. When he pulled the old toilet, he found that it was not only installed incorrectly, but that it was a 12in toilet jammed into a 10 in space... and we needed to find a 10 in toilet to replace it with. (he demonstrated in detail to show the issues.) Scott was able to run out and pick up a new 10in toilet fast and get it installed properly. Given everything involved with this project, I still feel that we got a price that was more than fair. It isn't easy finding honest professionals these days, but I am glad that I came across their number. Scott will now be the first person I call with any plumbing or heating issues.

Jeremiah is a very personable, hard working plumber who takes pride in his work. When I had a drain clog, he was fully booked for the day but promised to come by in the evening to take care of my clog. It turned out to be the clog from heck, but he stayed at it until it was cleared. He worked late into the evening and surely missed his dinner, but kept at it until successful. He provided excellent advice for dealing with the "creative" plumbing done on my home to avoid further drain issues. His charges are reasonable and his work is superb.

Larry Scarfia comes to my home with a supply of parts if needed, and leaves with a job done well, and the work area spotless. I love doing business with a local small business owner who takes pride in his work. He is easy to talk to, and one heck of a nice guy too!
