Im currently a parent/volunteer of which the last 8 school years I’ve been serving our school. I’m a mother of 4 and I just can’t sit back and see another one of our faculty be mashed and ridiculed. Specially when it’s our principal!!! I know Ms. Jimenez personally and if there’s one happy moment for me, it was the day she became principal. I can truly say she has always put the needs of others before hers and is always willing to listen and lend a hand. I’ve never seen anyone so dedicated like her. Its a shame that this continues to happen and I’m sure it’s coming from kids who don’t even attend our school. What a shame.... if these individuals think so poorly of our school or staff, they should come personally to make their complaints. Of course that’s not going to happen because they are hiding behind a computer! #smh

Being a parent of a child in pre school..the teaching of appropriate learning material seams good....BUT after hearing about another child touching abusing scratching hitting and tripping my child and having the teacher tell us its normal.after 2 weeks..2 to 3 times a week then to hear about it continuing after 4 and 5 weeks 2 -3 times a week...I say that is not normal and the teacher principal and parents need to have this child stopped...I don't care what they do or say just have this child stop. So I give this school a over all rating of 2 stars and that's with a Christian heart... I would not recommend mis rader and the admin...I don't know about the other teachers...but if admin doesn't respond with one teacher they probably don't respond to other teachers...this isn't the first time out child has been around children...she was in child care for 4 years...yes maybe a situation once a month or every other month..normal.....and minimal situations are normal told to us by other professionals....our child has been instructed not to defend herself and or strike back...so..how long will she be instructed not to defend herself???..thank you

This place and program are amazing. My son and I went to visit... he was excited to go but I was honestly going in with reservations and looking for a reason to Veto the idea of leaving home. Upon completion of our visit I was sooo impressed! The hockey program and academic facilites and sites are second to none and I am excitedly packing my player up to go "train like a beast"! South Tahoe High School compliments and completes this program designed to get players to the next level. I can not wait to see the strides my son will make this year on and off the ice. Amazing opportunity for my athlete... I am happy to have my son be apart of this! It seems the staff is genuinely concerned about the TOTAL YOUNG MAN NOT JUST THE HOCKEY PLAYER. Something special is happening in Tahoe... words can't explain you need to see it for yourself.

Had an absolutely horrible experience here. I'm now in college, but I'll never forget the endless bullying that I went through at St Adelaide. PLEASE, FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR CHILD'S PSYCHOLOGICAL WELFARE, DON'T SEND THEM HERE.

Couldn't ask for a better place for kids to learn and worship.

The German American School of Portland should be ranked as the Number One private school in Portland. Based on a diligent, holistic comparison of the top 10 private schools, I personally interviewed and screened at least the 5 I thought catered to the needs of a demanding mom like me; safety, discipline, teacher-student ratio, community culture, pricing, curriculum and alumni experience (not necessarily in that order). It came close to another school but I am so glad that I took the hit to forego a few hundred dollars in pre-reg and instead placed my son here in Kindergarten. After a year, my belief in the school is strengthened even more. This school "CARES" about your child. There is little hype. There are opportunities for families to get involved but not the pressure. It "RESPECTS" your time and your money. They are the best at what they do and yet not snobbish. And, everyone here "SMILES". Just down-to-earth, enthusiastic learning with some German added, to expand my child's intellectual horizons. I'm most grateful, and proud to be a part of it.
