Life Lutheran is a wonderful school! Plenty of social interaction and engaging activities.
As a former student, working with the younger kids was very beneficial. It taught me to be a role model and how to take responsibility.
I dealt with bullying like ANY kid does in school. But I always had teachers/adults that were there to confide in. I never felt alone.
My fondest memories are of art classes, traveling to the Hult center to see plays and choirs, my involvement with music and drama, and competing in the annual Lutheran Elementary School Tournaments.
Yes it is a small school, but there are so many benefits to having smaller classes. Plus, you have the added bonus of a positive christian atmosphere. Completely worth the money!
Calvary Online School / Calvary Preparatory Academy

Our experience with Calvary Prep Academy has been outstanding. Calvary is a Christian faith based school that has an engaged and caring staff of teachers and administrators. The curriculum is challenging and the goal is for students to master their academic learning, not to just pass through it without information retention. The high school program offers many options and opportunities for the student to plan their roadmap to college if that is their goal. There are many opportunities to get involved with the school and for students to explore their faith in daily bible studies and discussion forums. The support my student receives is solid and far above average.

This school is the best school ever I learned everything I know from here.
Sacred Heart Catholic School

There’s no other Catholic school to which I’d rather send my children than Sacred Heart Covina. The education here is top-notch and the school regularly updates its safety & emergency policies as new threats emerge. I feel very secure sending my kids here and take pride in the fact that they are receiving the best education possible.
St. John's Episcopal School

We have been a family at the school for 4 years and I attend St. John's as well. This is truly a school where every child is noticed. I am impressed by the STEAM approach to learning and how it is developing critical thinking skills in my children. They have a genuine love for school and each day is a new adventure.

I might be biased, being the pastor and all... ;) Love the church, the school, and... the people!
Yes House Adolescent Residential Treatment

I went there about 8/9 years ago.
A lot of the kids there were Foster kids/ward of the state. All I remember is someone who went there specifically for rehabilitation services ended getting robbed (robbed as in the staff stole her clothes) and kicked out.

My daughter has attended two classes so far. The teachers are compassionate and patient. They have two teachers for a very small class (maybe 5 kids tops) and they individually go around working with each child. My daughter is so excited to show me her work and tell me what she did and learned. Also, you can stay or drop off your child.

My daughters have been attending KLA for 2 years and we love this school! The class sizes are small and the teachers are so caring. My kids, grades 1 and 4, get individualized attention and are learning at a much quicker rate than when they were in public school. We have also noticed an increase in self confidence as the teachers really emphasize that each child is loved by God. That makes such a big difference in how they view themselves and the world around them.
Corvallis Montessori School

We recently moved from out of state and have been thrilled to place our child at Corvallis Montessori School. The teachers are warm, loving, and well-trained; the facilities are very nice and well-maintained; and the school is well organized. Most important, our child is happy to come to school every day!

Terrible!!! It's a revolving door of teachers and directors. If you are looking for stability for your kiddos than this is not the place for you. A stable, safe and loving environment is what our babies need and deserve. I do not recommend sending your kids here.

This is our 5th year at CHA. We initially chose the school as we wanted to give our children a strong
Jewish education – we wanted them to know more than we knew or could teach them. We have been so pleasantly surprised by not only the Jewish education but the high level of secular education, the constant stimulation and challenge, the warm and nurturing environment teaching our kids the love of Yiddishkeit and the love of learning and discovery. They are at advanced levels of reading and math and give us constant joy knowing they have a strong connection to their roots, their history and where they come from. We highly recommend the school as being welcoming, having an open door policy to all children and parents, a high standard of both secular and Judaic studies and building confidence and good values in each child
