I pretty much come here once a month and love the grilled pork chops and the braised beef ribs. The table top grill pork belly set dinner for 2 is another of my favorite.

Worst pizza nova location ever! The owner aka the old persian guy is very rude and ignorant and acts as if he's the "founder" of pizza nova! He's the WORST pizza maker, zero customer service and extremely cheap when it comes to making the pizzas. There is no toppings and cheese just a bit of sauce on a thick crust that's undercooked. I've been to this place numerous of times and every single time he makes the pizza i literally just throw it out and waste my money. I've learned that he's there every sunday so avoid this place on sundays trust me it'll save you headache and money.

Hard to find authentic lamb skewers in Canada. The ones here definitely aren't authentic either, but sure come closer than a lot of other places I've tried. Gwt the membership card if you plan on coming a few times in a year. Worth the overall savings to pay $20 onetime for the card (which can be shared if you have family/friends that dine here too).

I could have breakfast here every morning.
Guilin rice vermicelli with minced pork, chopped tomatoes and pickled veggies in broth...savoury and delicious. Scrambled egg sandwich on wonder bread (crust removed). End it with a slice of buttered toast with sweet condensed milk on top and a cup of HK milk tea...secret is not to use sugar but to ask for sweet condensed milk to sweeten the tea.

I really dont know what's up with the few negative comments about the place. Sure customer service needs a bit of tweaking but the food, by far.. is one of the best western Chinese restaurants I've been to. An authentic dive into the history of western Chinese cuisine.. this restaurants boasts the rich Chinese-Islamic culture through it's gourmet dishes, which to me, is irreplaceable. I'm sticking with my 5 stars. The rest of you be impatient like the rest of the screwups in society. 😍

The food is SO fresh and amazingly delicious. The sashimi felt like it melted in my mouth. None of th fish had any odour or were fishy. Prices vary from reasonable to pricy as they import some of their products from Japan's tsukiji markets (or so I'm told). Portions were fair. I am not giving a full 5 stars only because the service was kind of poor. They didn't seem too busy when I was there but I know they can get quite crowded. There didn't seem to be enough staff when I went and my table felt pretty ignored. Still would go back though and definitely recommend.

Our default lunch spot when driving to Scarborough, sometimes it's our reason to plan our weekend shopping around Scarborough. The noodle here keeps us from coming back. The house style beef/lamb brisket is our favorite, however the taste is quiet strong (savoury and sour, the pickled bamboo shoot is what makes the noodle unique, but might not be for everyone) I prefer vermicelli while my husband always has the house style with flat glass noodle.For a more refreshing taste, give guilin style lo vermicelli a try. The service is great here. Occasionally the flat glass noodle can be over cooked, but it doesn't stop us from coming back.
