I can't say enough about the level of service in this establishment. You know how the coffee in your room is usually accompanied by coffee mate? If you so desire, they will deliver milk or cream to your room if you ask. That's how good this place is

Great traditional fish and chips, but the salads are pretty much telling you to order chips instead. The British are not exactly known for their great salads and any sort of "healthy food", so it's a pass.

Food was good, restaurant is small, and had mirrors everywhere. So if you want to eat and see yourself chew, well dig in. Would we go back? Sure.

Great sushi! I was starting to lose all faith in sushi on Van Isle. It seems like most places all serve the bland generic rolls covered in sweet eel sauce. Not here, amazing flavors that come from only true practitioners of the craft. Best miso, tempura, salads and rolls that I've literally had in years. Wonderful, friendly service. Great experience, we will be back!

In fairness we were told they were just about to undergo a renovation so that perhaps explained the monumental wait time for our drive through order. The car ahead of us finally just left instead of waiting. We were there for about 15 minutes waiting. The food once it arrived was great however. I really hope the renovations fix the time issues as I definitely get the A&W craving every now and again.

My husband and i stopped in to smittys for breakfast today.....The first visit was great......todays visit was very disappointing!! My husband had breakfast.....hashbrowns came out looking like a burnt pancake,,,,,i had a cob salad,,,,,,,,,it didnt look anything like the picture on the menue,,,,,,,ive worked in restaurant for years and this cob salad was very disappointing!!!!! it had a ton toooooo much lettuce....and it should have looked more like the picture but it looked all thrown together in a pile on a small plate. every thing should have been separate,,,,,the bacon,,,,the chicken,,, etc but it was a messy dish. Never again,,,,,,sloppy food,,,,,,too bad as it started out good,,,,,,,,, the cook needs guidance on presentation........

I took my husband here for breakfast on his birthday,
It was sad, how can you do anything wrong with breakfast you think.
I had seen an ad in the local paper “breakfast $4.95”
Because I was also taking him for lunch and dinner I decided this would be great to try them again after a former dinner disappointment a couple of years ago.
The coffee was like smoking water, the potatoes half raw and the bread not included.
This could be such an awesome place 😌

Great food and amazing service. I’m willing to be in transit for more than an hour just enjoy having food there. While I like most of Kebabs there, I’m super fan of “Tahchin”, spiced rice with chicken. The staff are amazing and professional. for instance, my friends and I went yesterday (Sunday) for late dinner there and we were in a Sunday night blue mood, our server (Kristin) totally changed the mood, we had a whale of time at the end.
