6:00pm today my family and I thought we’d try to eat in our neighborhood. The hostess was nice and friendly. Waited. Waited. We asked a passing waitress if she was our waitress. She said she would find out who would be our server. Waited. No one. We decided to leave. On our way out,we saw at least 4 wait staff members hovering around the hostess station engaging in a lively conversation. Hmm.

Very poor service. Came in at 3:30 on a Sunday, promptly seated but after several minutes no one came to the table to take our orders or greet us. The place was completely dead, and workers were walking by but failed to acknowledge us. We ended up walking out and going down the road to a different restaurant that had better service.

This place was my regular spot for lunch for the longest time until a couple of months ago it started to get worse and worse. There is usually only one person working and they have no sense of urgency. Food looks like it is left out for long periods of time without being covered. They don't serve breakfast even though their menu says breakfast all day. It is always a 30 min+ wait to place your order. If you are looking to get Subway, I would recommend going one more mile north to the Ferndale location. They always have 3+ people working and are very friendly and eager to help.

Was at the royal oak location today - mothers day. Had a great waitress, the food was all really good and nicely played. 5 of us preferred different items plus 3 apps and 2desserts- everyone was pleased. Look forward to out next visit!

This place is a joke. By far the WORST subway I've ever been to. Any time I go here, the staff is either high out of their minds, slow, doesn't have enough help and it's a miracle if they make your sub correctly without burning the bread. Don't waste your time.

One word- Excellent!! The food is excellent! The service is excellent! Great experience! Now we know why people never leave their table long after their reservation has passed. It's the type of experience you have in a European country, where they want you to enjoy the food and company, not being rushed.

My family and I have been coming here for a little over 2 years and we continue to love it each time. The food is excellent for vegans and vegetarians and even those who are omnivores. Lots of good comfort type food. Lots of diversity in their dishes too. They serve some Indian, Mexican, Italian and more. Service is always good. Their deserts are awesome too. Try the carrot layer cake or the banana coconut cream pie. They are big enough for 2! One thing though, if you don’t have patience make sure you come pre or post lunch rush. Same goes for dinner.
