Good way to lease skis.

Management was very helpful. The sales person was knowledgeable.

I like Zumiez simply because it's the only place in Watertown that sells snowboarding gear. If it weren't for that I wouldn't frequent here as often. The workers in the store seem to avoid conversation with customers like we have a sickness they can catch. There isn't a huge inventory of snowboards that Zumiez has available in the store but you can have stuff shipped to the store which is pretty fast and convenient. The clothes they sell are trendy with the younger adult age group.

Feels like everyone is family. My two boys 6yr & 8yr) and i had ski lessons today (amazing price) with Heather and Marge, it was wonderful and my and i lived the 2hr lesson. Great for military families.

A great place to ski, right in North Bay. They have several hills to enjoy. My kids were interested in introductory snowboarding lessons. No instructor was available. They called back 15 minutes later indicating that they had located an instructor. The kids were thrilled. It was a great way to start the new year. As a bonus there is a conservation area right beside the ski hill. If you want a break from the slopes you can take a relaxing hike.

I have found this place to be nothing but a pleasurable experience. Not only Mount Pakenham Ski resort has the best ski hills for beginners like myself and my young son, but also has the kindest staff. The pricing is very affordable especially when one comes for the Saturday night skiing (4-9pm). At around $50 for two lift day passes plus rentals, no other ski resort around the Ottawa region can beat that. We'll certainly continue coming to this wonderful ski resort.

I spoke with the owner when I came in and he was constantly trying to pressure sell me. I wanted questions answered on snowboards but obviously he has no idea of the benefits of consultative selling techniques (coming from a salesman such as myself). Very rude and pompous individual and by the looks of the other reviews I'm not surprised other employees act arrogantly as well.

Attended annual Artfest again this year on July 1 weekend. Excellent juried show with good mix of invited local & out of state exhibiting artists of many different media. Decent venue with very reasonable admission fee. Free live jazz. Plenty of free parking.

I would give Mark and The Ski Company 10 stars if possible! I am new to the sport of skiing, I originally trusted the folks at REI to fit me for new ski boots. The staff member at REI was very polite however, he failed to measure my foot; he only fitted me with one boot and guaranteed they were a perfect fit. My feet were killing me and they were going numb! I trusted him and purchased the boots because he convinced me that this painful feeling was normal. THANKFULLY we found The Ski Company LTD the very next day!! Mark was patient, thorough and extremely knowledgeable. Mark properly measured both of my feet and assistants me with multiple styles/designs of boots to find the perfect fit. I didn’t feel rushed at all, Mark clearly wants to make sure his customers are properly fitted and satisfied. The experience was so wonderful, Mark helped be select the proper skis and other equipment I needed to be ready for the slopes. We even purchased a snowboard, bindings, and boots for our daughter! Mark expertly installed all of our bindings on the spot!! We are customers for life!! We have found a gem, The Ski Company is the ONLY Place to go if you want expert customer service from a knowledgeable and trustworthy business owner. We also noticed Mark’s shop is very clean, organized and has a nice layout. Other stores we have visited are cramped and difficult to maneuver. It is very important to enjoy your experience from the beginning, if you get frustrated you tend to make hasty decisions. Mark made sure we were educated and prepared, he never pushed us to spend more nor did he attempt to upsell any items. We won’t shop anywhere else!!!

Very friendly people. Super chill laid-back vibe. Really fun kick-ass terrain. It is especially fun if you like tree skiing, powder, and natural terrain features. They take an excellent light approach to grooming.

Great store for the outdoor person. Really enjoyed my time there. Great folks working and serving the public.
