Northwestern Ontario is one of the few Canadian regions that offer strong business opportunities along with a relaxed lifestyle, safely away from the madness of the big metropolitan centers and yet close enough for those looking to spend time mixing with large crowds. Designed to properly serve this unique environment, the CEDC team offers the perfect support for any entrepreneur looking to start, relocate or develop a business here. The commission staff is extremely professional, well trained and experienced, offering a well-rounded package of support services, reliable information and networking opportunities. They go well above and beyond the typical government agency, offering a timely, effective, no-nonsense, solution oriented approach to helping anybody who is looking to plant their roots in Thunder Bay and surrounding areas. If you ever plan to come to Thunder Bay and start something here (big or small), stop by CEDC. You won't regret it.

Amazingly helpful staff who are very knowledgeable and willing to help build a successful city/region

Nice building

Go there to play euchre once or twice a week. Easy to get to and lots of parking.

Twice I've driven from Kingston to Winnipeg and found that my pay-as-you-go cellphone couldn'tt be used between White River and Kenora because Thunder Bay Mobility wouldn't recognise calls from other networks unless they were made by contract users. That was a big problem. Is TBM still blocking cellphones used by pay-as-you-go customers of other services?

You should reconsider advertising in the Chronicle Journal. They do not treat indigenous people with any decency.

This discount store has everything I needed and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Not exactly a gift souvenirs store

If it's not late it will probably be early enough for you to miss it.

Great help everything I needed for my camping trip
