Travel Agency

A group of 9 travelers wanted to do a tour of Australia. 4 of us have been using Jason at Downunder Travel since 2005. 8 of us had travelled to Africa in 2015 once again with Jason's arrangements. We are a group with agricultural interests so we were hoping to see the diversity of Australia with as many ag components as possible. We met with Jason and he compiled an itinerary for us which gave us another trip of a lifetime. Jason's attention to detail is truly amazing. Over 6 wks. we had 12 flights with airport pickups arranged, about 10 different hotels and probably 20 arranged private tours. Everything happened without a glitch which makes for a worry-free holiday. He also allowed for some free days if anything needed rearranged. We are already planning our next holiday with his company. Kudos to Jason! N&J, M&J, T&D, D&T, & J. January 2017

Imagine you telling your 6 year old son this: 5 more sleeps, 4 more sleeps, 3, 2, 1… Guess what day it is today??? And he yells “DISNEY CRUISE!!!!” and by the end of the day, there is no Disney Cruise because the flight you were supposed to get on at 6:30 in the morning doesn’t leave until 2:30 pm causing you to miss your ship. Yup, that’s what happened last week and if it weren’t for our travel agent Barry Davis from Marlin Travel, our vacation would have been over even before it had started. Barry went above and beyond to get us on another flight and made the transaction seamless. We not only missed our ship, but we had to catch up to it in Mexico (our first port of call) and Barry organized everything we needed in order to do that… and we did! Thanks to Barry, we were able to spend a whole day in Mexico and another 5 aboard our ship! If anyone reading this post is looking for a travel agent, give Barry a call because this guy started working for us “hours” before his agency was open for business. Had I booked this trip with an online agency I think I would have never left Calgary that day. The best part of having a travel agent is that the pricing is virtually the same. You'll pay the same with a travel agent as you would any other online ticketing agency. It's a no brainer to have someone like Barry on your team! Thanks Barry!

I went into Transat Travel Sunridge today to book my holiday. One lady working and was dealing with a couple. We waited for 20 minutes until it was our turn. Told the lady what we wanted looked at a few places and choose one to book. Cory took the payment and asked us if we could walk the mall for a half an hour so she could finish our paperwork and speak with the man who came in after us. We went back after a half hour, a family of four went in just before us. She said she hasn't done our paperwork yet can we come back later or tomorrow. I'm sorry I lost it it. I asked for her to cancel our trip. She said people are usually more patient than me. What the heck is meant by that I gave her reasonable amount of time to finish my transaction. She wanted me to wait until she did more sales!!! Who treats customers this way???

Yossica Effendi was an absolute expert at booking and planning my rather long trip on short notice. And working with her was a pleasure .,her expertise and attention made this booking so easy. I have used flight centre market mall before and they are a great group to deal with.

Have been there 6 times for various things. Staff was always polite, helpful, accurate, and acceptably efficient. What more can you ask? Have also phoned them several times, and always received accurate information.

This company took our money and then cancelled our trip. We never got our money back!!!

Some of the worst customer service I've experienced. I walk in and without looking at anything the guy tells me my insurance will be $1600 for the year without asking my history.

The entrance is weird, you trip you die

Went in today and Andrew was a joy to work with. If you have to book a flight, go to this branch and look for him!

Awesome staff, excellent service. Kavita went out of her way to help me on her off day....I recommend this agency to everyone...

Small cramped office, I was told I would get a call back about a booking and they never called.
