It could be a nice place, but events they are doing are quite strange. It is a basic to provide some simple snacks, but there was not even tea or coffee. Strange. Also watch out for the volonteer prices, to go to another country and help people YOU have to pay unbelievably high price, just be careful and understand what is going on, before signing up. Mostly for students and people who don't know how to travel on their own, how to get visas, working permissions, etc.... Also you have to understand, that is not guaranteed work for here, with two countries exceptions.

Just finished my first tour with my girlfriend for her birthday. The guide Adam was amazing and even told a story for my girlfriends birthday. Great experience. Would recommend.

I used agent Loralee Santarossa and was very impressed with the quality and effort she put into helping me plan a vacation with my in-laws. She was friendly, enthusiastic and provided us with great options! We are so happy and are so looking forward to our vacation!

I always find the staff knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to help. I've had nothing but good experiences booking travel and buying insurance here.

Not good customer service experience ever and I am not recommending Tianbao travel to anyone who wants to enjoy the trip. I Called the customer service line to inquiry the Vancouver 7 days trip. The agent who answer the phone is not patient at all and put the line on hold for 30 minutes.

This is my review of the Chicago Thanksgiving Shopping 3 Day Tour (CHL03). I am female and traveled solo. The itinerary was for the three days were: Day 1, arrive in Chicago in the evening, check in to Loews O’Hare and head to Fashion Outlets of Chicago for black Friday shopping at midnight. Day 2, leave the hotel at 10:00AM to downtown Chicago to Willis Tower and Shedd Aquarium and more shopping. The bus would pick passengers up at 7:30PM from John Hancock observatory and return to the hotel. Day 3, on the return to Toronto, shopping at Somerset Collection Mall and Duty Free (at the border). What I enjoyed: *The trip involved visiting ONE city, Chicago, and not the bouncing from one city to the other. *I set my own schedule for day 2 of the trip. *At $382.80 (including taxes) for the hotel and transportation, it was affordable. * Loews O’Hare Hotel – It had to be one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. The room, restaurants, location, and friendly staff were top notch. *The bus that we traveled in had Wi-Fi and electrical outlets. What I disliked: * I was originally booked for another tour that was scheduled to depart Nov.19th, but was informed Nov 14th that the trip was cancelled. I was given the option of two other tours, and I chose the Chicago Thanksgiving Shopping 3 Day Tour (CHL03). I was then told that it would be an additional $55 and she would contact with me after speaking to her manager in regards to how I would pay. After she hung up, I went on their website to get more information about the tour. It wasn’t 5 minutes later when she called back and told me that I would be able to pay the addition money to the tour guide on the day of departure, but I would have to pay $66, because the price had changed to $382.80. I kept telling her that the price she was now quoting me was not on the website, but she insisted that it was the price. When I refreshed my browser, that’s when I saw the price had changed (very sneaky!). *There were only 1 stop for a meal (lunch) to Chicago and on the return trip to Toronto, which was awful. Obviously the tour guide didn’t consider most restaurants would be closed on Thanksgiving Day (USA), or the fact that people do have breakfast in the morning. Even if a stop was made at a coffee shop or convenience store would have made a difference, because most of the rest stops only had bathrooms. *The tour guide (Kelvin) had terrible customer service skills. He texted the incorrect number of the bus number the night before departure (it was bus 10 and not 11). The bus driver had to speak to staff at the U.S. and Canadian border, as well as organize the passengers while Kelvin just stood by and watched. He was not able answer questions outside of the itinerary. *Being forced to go to American outlet malls when the SAME outlet malls are around the Greater Toronto Area (Halton and York) and Niagara region. It’s a complete waste of time and energy. I would understand if at certain times of the year (Black Friday, Christmas shopping, Boxing Day) making a trip to an outlet mall in Pennsylvania (U.S.), because there’s no sales tax on clothing, shoes and other items. I hope the company creates tours exclusively either for shopping or sight-seeing, not both.
