Like the rest of Dawson this is part of the tourist show. The town would not exist without tourism. Good museum lots to see. The walking tours around the town are worth doing - book them at the tourist information centre near the ferry terminal.

Sandwiches are killer. And their cheesecake is no joke.

I would recommend North Pole Veterinary Hospital to anyone needing quality compassionate care for their pets. Have never had a bad experience at this place. It's very clean, the staff incredibly professional and caring. Well deserving of the 5 stars I gave them 🐾🐾🐾🐾

We took our dogs in to update there shots and the vets were very friendly and made sure our dogs were comfortable before doing anything and our dogs didn't even know what was happening they were just happy to meet new people and get treats.

Clara is the best vet i have ever met. She is very nice and honest, make you feel comfortable and answer all your questions with good explanations you can understand perfectly and it all makes sense when she explains. I tried a couple of vets before and I did feel they were trying to up-sell lots of things...while Clara was completely honest and helpful and really seem to care about my dog, which is the most important thing to me. Great experience and I have the peace of mind i was looking for!

Been coming here since my first dog and now with my new baby and they are amazing with the animals.. they are so careful and kind to them. Bica loves going to her vet.

Great place to help you take care of your pets

The only vet I trust with my dogs - I have had over 5 in the last 10 years. Dr Carmicheal and his staff are extremely caring individuals who only want the best for their patients. My older dog has been going here for the past 5 years and this has been the only practice where he hasn’t shown any signs of distress - previously he would have to be muzzled before any vet would go near him. Dr Carmicheal took the time to ensure my boy felt comfortable being in his presence. The kindest thing Dr Carmicheal did for me as an owner was to allow me to hold my boy in my arms when he was sedated for a heart scan. He could see I was extremely upset by the whole situation so sedated my boy, allowed him to fall asleep in my arms and let me sit in the back room with him when the scan took place. My newer addition is now also a patient and I could not recommend this practice enough. All the staff do it for the love of the job and the animals they treat.

Fantastic Staff!! As we moved to Hampstead our cat needed surgery and received the best care! Our dog has also received amazing care after she got her eye scratched by our cat, they are both doing very well now:) I highly recommend this place!!
