Veterinarian

MUR has had the pleasure of working very closely with PVHS. The doctors are very thorough, the staff are so great, and the clinic is so accommodating. We look forward to many more years of rescuing animals in need with your assistance! Anyone complaining about paying for veterinary care seems to be forgetting that veterinary clinics are businesses, and businesses have expenses, including paying salaries for extremely hardworking staff who need to put food on their tables for their families. The equipment used to save the lives of your pets aren’t cheap.

They're amazing with my dog, even though he's very nervous around strangers. Wonderful Vet, wonderful office staff!

The doctors here went well beyond a typical interaction. They were amazing

Tonight my husband and I, Brock and Natasha Anderson are mourning the passing of our wonderful daughter Sasha June Anderson. Sasha was born in Nova Scotia and was rescued at four months from an animal shelter. She was found in the woods, taken to the shelter almost frozen to death but brought back to health and then was adopted by us. She loved lying on my pharmacy books as I studied to become a pharmacist with her brother Henry (he passed away several years ago), they were best of buds. Sasha moved to a couple of provinces and finally ended up in Winnipeg. She told us when to go to bed, was a wonderful snuggle bunny with me (her momma), loved coming to the shower to have the water sprayed on her, loved her heat and laying in the sun, was a real head-butter....just the daughter of our dreams. Sadly today Sasha June passed on her own terms. She fought a long battle with kidney problems, a bladder cancer tumor and then severe anemia. We did everything possible for her with the assistantance of all of the Family at the Dakota clinic. What a caring team! We took Sasha June in today for her injection, however her body was weak and could no longer fight, the trooper she was at 18, she went in her terms like a true Anderson. She died in my arms, no pain just peaceful. I held her afterwords for almost an hour and the staff were so wonderful and consoling. Dr. Sheri Gould was by her side all the way. We thank her for her compassion and understanding, she was so graceful and helped her pass without pain. She is an extrordanary vet and we thank her. Also to all of the staff at the clinic, thank you for loving Sasha as we did. Also a sincere thanks to Dr. Bartley, she was with us all the way. Sasha did not come home today and her two brothers, Sam and Sebastian and sister Sophie are upset and wonder where Sasha is. They are by our side and lots of loving and caring is going on. In summary, thank you everyone for caring for Sasha, you helped prolong her life without any complications until her body was done. Today, she went out her way. She will be forever loved, never forgotten and now in heaven with her brother Henry. 18 years baby...was a blast and a great time!!! Love ya Sasha! Again, thank you again and again for the love and understanding from the Dakota Vet clinic and staff!!❤❤❤Sincerely Natasha and Brock.

Excellent staff. Very friendly and helpful. The doctor is very nice. The prices are lower than any other vet I have found. They are very upfront about cost.

Our pets love the staff and good prices.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Lovely!

WAEH has been one of the most amazing clinics we have had the pleasure of dealing with in the crazy world of dog rescue. Their staff go above and beyond for each dog we entrust to their care, and treated with compassion. We know WAEH deals with so many difficult, and emergent situations, but they handle it flawlessly and with grace. We don’t know what this city would do without you. Keep up the great work, guys!

Our cat of 19 years began declining in the last few months, Dr. Broughton and his staff did everything they could to extend his life, in the end we had to say goodbye to our beloved family member. Dr. Broughton made this terrible time as easy as possible. Wonderful, professional care. Jason Elwood

I took my sick duck to Winrose this morning. The staff were so helpful, accommodating, and just plain amazing. I can't thank them enough, best exotic vet in Winnipeg.
