I'm leaving this because of what this company did to my parents. Absolute worst quality laughable workmanship and the worst service. Complete crooks. This company left them with worse quality windows than the ones they replaced. Clara attempted to replace two windows and when delivered they were the wrong size. They attempted a second replacement but only to be paid their final instalment. In each instance the quality became worse and worse. They stopped answering phone calls. They left my parents with windows that have required additional replacement from another competent company. Also, despite having paid in full for this awful product despite the horrendous quality and empty promises to fix any poor workmanship they quietly sent my elderly parents to collections who registered a negative debt against my father and it has negatively affected his credit (he's a doctor and has never had a bad debt in his life). The photos speak for themselves. This is a large company that gets their foot in the door by offering a competitive price but be warned, the product is so cheaply made, cold, and the workmanship is the worst I've ever seen. Don't take a chance with your investment. Update: less than one year later, the largest window of their installation is cracked. It's now been determined that it was installed with no space against the framing, no insulation and the cheap vinyl frame was insufficient for the window. My parents have contacted another reputable company and will have to pay an additional $4200 to replace this and another poorly functioning window.

I give this company a 0 star rating. The windows they provided for my home are Jeld-wen windows and they are very bad windows. My home is 6 years old and the windows are starting to fog up which means the thermal seals are gone in just 6 years. Mike Desmarais from Ottawa builder sales would not replace the windows that were foggy and said there is only a 5 year warranty on these windows. Several windows don't even close properly, you have to crank the lever so hard it almost breaks then the window snaps shut and almost breaks. It's only a matter of time before they all break and all fog up. Considering my house is 6 years old and I'm having all these problems I find these windows to be the bottom of the barrel and I don't recommend Jeld-wen windows to anybody who is building a new home. You will have a tone of problems after the 5 year warranty expires. Don't do it, don't choose Jeld-wen. I have to say my experience with Jeld-wen windows and Ottawa builder sales has been disgusting.

Super impressed with everything and they were quick during install. Would recommend them for sure.

The sales person was very effective, trustworthy, and available. He provided a competitive price for products above the quality of the competition. The workers did a terrific job installing the doors and windows in a short amount of time and were very professional. I definitely recommend them.

I had my windows re-caulked on my stucco house and I'm pleased with Mike's work. He arrived in the morning and finished by the afternoon. I dealt with David for the estimate and both he and Mike were professional. I would definitely recommend Kaiser.

Last year. I replaced a large bay window with a Farley window from Oakview Windows. After much research into lots of window companies, I chose Oakview due to the excellent customer service provided by Paul Lavigne - the owner. He is a Guru on windows and doors! It's so much warmer in my kitchen it's almost unbelievable. And as a bonus, Oakview's prices for Farley windows are 2% less than Home Depot's sale price for the EXACT same window! I plan to replace all my windows with this company. Excellent installation as well.

I have had the pleasure of working with Arbnor on three properties over the last twelve years. For the first property, Arbnor supplied all windows and doors for the house and I did the installation. For the other two houses, Arbnor both supplied and installed all the windows and doors. Arbnor is a true professional in the window industry, and his installer Pierre is excellent. Arbnor has given me great advice on technical aspects of different glazings, which style is best suited for the opening, and which proportions look best for the multi-unit windows. Pierre the installer is extremely detail-oriented, and took great care with the hidden things such as air sealing and insulating around the windows, as well as with the more visible things such as caulking, trim and window operability. I have gone through one winter now with the new windows (North Star triple glazed) in my current house and the improvement in comfort and energy savings is remarkable. Rooms that were cold and drafty became cozy and warm with the new windows. The house looks so much better too. I recommend Arbnor to my friends, family and colleagues, and will continue to happily use his services in the future.

The owner Thach came to my home and did the measurements and quickly provided me with his quotation. I accepted his offer as I had seen some of the other jobs he did in y neighbourhood. He replaced all the windows in one day and came back the next day to do the caulking. Excellent service price and installation. Thoughly cleaned up after completion. My next door neighbour also had his windows replaced by Thach and later had his entrance door changed by him as well. Excellent experience with siding work done to my house. Work was done efficiently, crew was professional, and photos were taken along the way to show what's behind the siding and demonstrate work was well done. I expect to go back to BestCan for future home reno projects.

I am writing this review that I would recommend this company first hand. We had film put on our patio and living room window. These windows faced the West and in afternoon and evening it was so hot even with curtains. But once we had Dan install the film we not only had comfort but privacy as well. Dan recommended the perfect product. Dan was very knowledgeable in his product. We did have one of the panels crack, but Film FX comes with a warranty and once we had the window fixed and the film replaced, we were refunded immediately within days. I give Dan and his company 5 stars. Thank you Dan for your excellent service. Judy

This Pella store in Ottawa is the worst customer experience I have ever had and on more than one occasion. The place is usually staffed by one person who mans the phones for customers, service and repairs. And looks after customers who walk in. They put the in-place customer as they deal with the phone. What a joke.
