Manager was really helpful in finding me financing options. It was tricky but they got it done. I was glad to get my truck fixed and it's under warranty.

Be careful here, I would not go back. They gouged me by 'padding' the bill (double timing, heavy mark ups, inflating hours etc). When confronted (nicely) they naturally denied and had standard reasons and refused to adjust the bill. They are not worth the head aches. Quality of work remains to be seen since they checked wheel bearings and did some minor tire work (at $20 per tire just to brake it down and reinflate). UPDATE-rear bearing began leaking fluid due to a pinched seal and cost another $150 to repair. These guys are hacks as well as cheats.

The work done on my car was great. They got it done correctly and quickly. The older gentlemen was nice and helpful however the younger man was not the nicest. I have a car warranty where you have to call them and have them send over payment and they paid this place over $550 and the guy was still mad about having to call them. I have never seen someone get mad about receiving money. Then, while he told me to talk on the phone to the guy he goes and turns on a loud project car and proceeds to make so much noise. SERVICE goes a long ways and would of been 5 stars if this one man wasn't rude and was nice about the process.

Short Version: Our 2004 Honda Accord had transmission problems in 2016. The transmission was replaced with a TranStar transmission by Trans-EX. We got the Premium TranStar Protection guarantee for 3 years. In November of 2017 that transmission went bad again. Trans-EX had gone of business. I called Texas Transmission to make an appointment and we arranged to drop the Honda off 11/22/17, the day before Thanksgiving. Over the next few weeks I made several phone calls to Texas Transmission to ascertain the status of our Honda. In spite of Texas Transmission telling me that they would call me back they seldom did. Some time in early January Texas Transmission received a replacement transmission for the Honda. But again calls were not returned and no progress was made on our Honda in spite of assurances that they would get to it soon. We finally got our Honda back on 1/29/18, more than 2 months after we dropped it off. Texas Transmission also required us to pay the labor and fluids that were supposed to be covered under the guarantee. We had to write a check for $677.94 to get our car back on what was supposed to be guarantee work. And we had to pay labor for a complete transmission replacement instead of just the faulty electronics because Texas Transmission and TranStar were unable to get together on diagnostics.
