We have been fishing at Ara Lake for over 20 years. Dick and Shirley run a great camp! excellent pike and walleye fishing, great home cooked food, clean well built cabins, solid boats and motors and wonderful hospitality! Grab a couple of rods, a few spoons, some jigs and crankbaits and a few of your best friends and go have a great time!

I have spent 10 summers at Camp Agawak and could not have imagined it any other way. Throughout my camp experience, I have bonded with girls and have made friendships that I know will last a lifetime. My past counselors have shaped me into the young woman I am today by teaching me lessons through independence, perseverance, and kindness. Not only is a Agawak a place where you can have fun, but a place where you can be yourself, and try new things. Through the wide variety of activities provided, The Agawak Staff makes sure that each girl can strive to be her best, and become passionate about something at here at camp. This magical place has taught me many life lessons that I will forever cherish, and I am forever grateful that I have had the blessing to attend Camp Agawak For Girls.

Great lake for a drive in and good fishing.

Great campsite. Plenty of room for tents and has a fire ring with some benches. Also features a latrine and a good area for hanging food bags.

Great way to get the kiddos out and active. Awesome financial assistance so that families that need that extra help can send their kid/kids to camp and get in on the action. Growing up, I would dream about going to Camp Manitou so bad because all the other kids would go every summer and come back to school talking about Camp Manitou but my parents never put me through it. My kids look forward to camp every summer and I can't say I don't love a few days for "me" time.

Loved going there when I was growing up. I really liked CMI and the Northern Illinois band camp..I learned a lot about Music Friendship and the Lord..I'm hoping to come out there this summer..Lots of good memories and the people too.
