Remove 22 bolts on shock absorbers. 1 hour plus and expensive. That boils down to 57 dollars per bolt. Only 5 bolts holding a shock absorber in place.

The quality work done on my vehicle was great. I have a newish car and was repaired like new. Norms did a great job, and provided a courtesy car as well. I also talked to Neil who took care of me and provided great customer service. Happy to take my vehicles back.

Not great customer service

I had a couple repairs done here and it was ok.... a few unexpected charges after a routine oil change (no, i certainly didn't want any new washer fluid at full price, thanks) but not a surprise at a mechanic shop. My beef is that he freaked out on a friend of mine on the phone when she dared to go to another shop that was closer to her work. Totem wrecked the bead seal on one set of tires but lost his s**t on the phone when she called him to ask him to help find her a new set. It was very unprofessional, and she was very upset. Not to mention that is was a mistake that he made that cost her over $550 bucks for a new set of tires. I mean, stuff happens, but you don't yell at a customer. Ever. His reputation around town is as a bit of a snap show. I won't be going back.

Dealt with these guys a few times, no issues. I can recommend.

Trucks

So far they have had my car for six weeks and never called me once to let me know how it was progressing. For the first week I never had a loaner car. After six weeks they towed it to Terrace to have fresh eyes look at it. Who knows how much longer it will take.
