We had a great experience. They gave us a great car for a great price and getting back to the airport for our return flight was so fast. The staff was all very nice. We did need to wait at least 15 minutes for the shuttle when we first flew in and we also didn't know where the pick up place was but once the shuttle came everything was great.

Was traveling for my mother’s funeral and the business I was renting a car from was not accommodating. Went to their office and the gentleman there this late evening was extremely pleasant and engaging. In out in about 30 minutes. Car was clean, no issues and upon return dropped car off, was greeted immediately, checked gas and that was it. But really what was impressive the driver to the airport was right there, took our bags and off we went. All of them were very professional. I will use again.

Courteous, quick, efficient and helpful staff. Reasonable rates too. I'd do business with these guys again for sure.

Tldr: the attendant at this station laughed at and mocked me after i encountered difficulty renting a car Got off my plane and attempted to fulfill my rental reservation. The attendant said I could not get the car. He wouldn't explain at first, but then said it was because a credit check had failed on me. I asked about other options and he suggested to call the reservations line and ask them. I called and they gave me the run around and provided no info. I went back to the desk and asked to pay for the car with my boyfriend's (not present) credit card. The attendant at this point laughed at me. I asked him if there was anything I could do to get a car and he held up a hand, rudely making a zero figure. I asked him why he had me call this phone number if it would do nothing. He shrugged and laughed again. While I realize my situation was difficult and there wasn't anything he could do, I don't think it was very fair to mock and laugh at me in a moment of crisis. I cannot possibly recommend this car rental service.

I touched the star by mistake, the person I spoke with over the phone was rude. I was still making an enquiry when she said "this is a luxury taxi company" and she hung up.

Only place I will rent. Avis preferred is the best experience in rental companies I’ve had. The airport location has a large variety of cars so me and my kids always have great options but being able to pull up and go is the best no line no hassles I love it... if you do have to go into the office VINCENT PARKER is the best, great attitude gets customers in and out

The website clearly states debit cards can be used. "The website needs to be updated." is my response after travelling from Thailand. I needed my brother to rent a car for me. I was quoted a price for a Versa and given a deal on a Frontier. Two separate quotes. I chose the deal for an extra 50 CAD and took the white Frontier. My brother checked his card and he was charged an additional 100 CAD due to an upgrade from the Versa. I did not one the Versa, I rented and was quoted for the Frontier 540 CAD for the week not 650 CAD. Good job! Definitely upset but what can I do? Thanks Nathalie.

All the "on airport" rentals are too far from the airport, compared to other large airports. The rental dropoff is in the open, so prepare to get drenched when dropping off if it's raining.

Cars are great and they have a good selection, just keep an eye out for the fuel charge. Rented every week for 5 years and drive an average of 70 miles. They usually charge me for about 10 gallons. If I ask they apologize. I think it's their way off making additional revenue.

I had a family emergency and had to get home right away was down in Kentucky and we called them and they took care of us immediately the car was great that they gave me and it was easy to return so I would definitely use this company again the people were very nice and very helpful

I appreciate Alamo because they allow customers to book without a credit card. This is ideal for those of us who are working toward financial freedom from debt. The customer service is also always excellent!! I highly recommend Alamo!!

Long wait time, acceptable vehicle, decent price. Seems like you get what you pay for.

No complaints. Price was perfect. Car was good. Didn't have to wait around for a shuttle back and forth to Detroit Metropolitan Airport. They provided quick transportation back and forth. Put my luggage in their shuttles for me. Please be sure to leave a little tip to the driver if you let them help you. They are not getting rich driving us around. A couple bucks is fine. Myself being disabled, I totally appreciated the help with my luggage. Would definitely rent from them again. I think they are a little busier than some of the other rental agencies, so book in advance if you want to rent from them.

The price was great, I was able to rent a Standard Elite SUV prepaid for about the same as what some other places were charging for an standard sedan. When picking up, there was almost no wait (surprising considering it was right before Thanksgiving), and the woman who assisted me at the counter was very friendly. The Ford Flex we received was very clean and perfect for our needs. I was surprised to see how well it was optioned (even had distance-controlled cruise control), very pleasant to drive. Dropping off was fast and easy, and the shuttles to and from the airport required almost no waiting.

My husband and I rented a Brick Enclave and a sweet Jeep a couple of weeks ago. The environment was was fast and fun and they provided excellent customer service. Unfortunately, we do not remember the names of the individuals who assisted us but we would like to thank the entire staff at the Detroit Metro airport.

Very cordial staff and nice service.. No hidden charges or conditions.. would definitely recommend.. 😊👍
